That is what it looks like where the athletes are supposed to stay. The games start in 9 days!!!!

So the question is: Would you go and participate in the Commonwealth Games if you knew that the conditions could be like this?!?

Those are pretty bad conditions. Its funny they have nice stone tile work in the bathroom but it is disgusting.

But this is probably a step up from most of India. I watched some documentary called "worlds toilet crisis" and it was mostly filmed in india. Where there are hardly any toilets and open public defecation is the norm.

well, most of the athletes still went because they've spent years training for competitions like this and they aren't going to pass that up so easily. Plus this probably isn't the case for EVERY room.... just some rooms are this bad.

Oh my god! In my opinion, I would never go to the games if I knew the conditions were like this. The world's athletes should not be given such poor conditions. They've been training so hard and if I was training and went to the Commonwealth Games, I would be greatly disappointed.
