Hi there i am trying to play wonder boy. this is a old time favorite of mine. ive downloaded the plugin and the java. when i click to play the game, it just comes up with a black screen with red round the edges, stating that its ready. nothing is happening. im gutted please help.

Which Wonder Boy game is this about?
Have you tried other games on the same game console to see if they run?

If you are talking about the Master System ones I think you have to press one of the buttons on the keyboard when it says it is ready to play.
Not sure which one though, probably either start or z or x.
