Why does it say where the number of registered members are, that there are like, 49 members waiting for activation..? is that why we haven't had so many new people lately, because their account hasn't been "activated"?

I thought people had to activate them selves... I can't remember what activated me, Mod Admin or an email. But i always thought that people recieved an email then they clicked on a link.

When a member registers, they are sent an email, and they gotta check that email in order to get activated. The system is pretty faulty though, because pretty much ALL the activation emails get sent to a persons junk mail box, so that is why so many people never got fully activated, they didn't find their email (most people dont check their junk mail).

Yeah thats true but the service i use i have to select what email get sent to trash but enetring either a subject, email address or a phrase of an email address and it will send them to junk. Go Mail As... http://www.mailas.com

Suggestion: Change the activation type to Admin or to None, this way only Admins can activate or when the register they are immediatley actiated and ready to use the forum.
