OK! It's finally here! Reach is being released in a just a few hours, and I just want to know how many other people are as PUMPED UP as I am! xD

I already played through the whole thing it really isn't all that different than any of the other halo games.

It's one thing to play it, another thing to beat it, and a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT thing to take it all in. If you really notice the storylines of all the other Halo games, and then play Reach, your head just might explode. For 15 years we all thought Master Chief was the biggest and the baddest of all the Spartans, but now we know that Noble Six is the true hero. No, this isn't a spoiler. !!!DO NOT ruin the game for others!!! I beat it on the first day it came out Just beat it and follow the storyline and then you'll realize that Halo: Reach is really going to be the game of the century.

Has anyone else gotten/played this game yet? I got it this weekend and I really enjoy it a whole lot. The story is very captivating and it feels different being a part of a squad rather than playing as Master Chief. The graphics are very good and just like every Halo game before it, the music is superb! I even like that they incorporated some more rock & roll type music rather than the standard "monks chanting" sounds from the previous games.

My biggest concern is that I feel the way this game was made really tested the limits of the xbox360 and I think we may finally be at the end of the technology loop for this product. What's disappointing is that most people are saying that they won't have a new console out for 3-4 more years at the earliest! I don't know how much more people can get out of the existing technology to really make it worthwhile for me... but that's just my opinion.

I would still recommend this game to everyone to give it a shot! totally fun and worthwhile.

I love this game. Ive played everyday since it came out. I think they made this the best halo... possibly the best fps EVER!

There is so much more than campaign, which was actually the hardest I've seen in a long time. But multiplayer is so expansive with all the new amour abilities and cosmetic looks, which are also carried over into campaign btw. Also with daily challenges available, you always have something to work toward!

And for those who thought the enemies were to easy in the past few games... play legendary and you will find even grunts to be lethal, for a beginer anyway. they made every enemy harder. I've stuck a grenade to an elites face, high ranking elite, and it was still alive!

On Legendary, most elites will survive a grenade stick (or two) and some can survive even lasers and rockets. On the last level, it took me an entire Spartan Laser to kill the highest ranking elite in the game. But yea, this is MOST DEFINITELY the hardest Halo game to beat on Legendary. Try soloing the campaign on legendary to get that 150G achievement. I did, and I'm freakin proud of it

scorpion347 : Thanks. As of today, I only have 4 achievements to go. 2 require ranking up, then there's the Corvette mission one, and getting all of the daily challenges in 1 day. It's not that they're difficult, it's just time consuming. And some advice for legendary: be sure you're good at conserving ammo and getting headshots.
