It seems I'll be the tie breaker for now so I'm gonna have to pic... Gallade because A)I think fighting/psychic is a deadlier combo and B)I once evolved a LV30 Kirlia to a LV34 Gallade due to a glitch in the game.

I will have to go with Gallade. Although I am quite fond of gardevoir, and after kirlia evolves into Gallade, it's special attack makes psychic type almost useless... But I still say he's just that much cooler.

I'd go with both of them. They have different strengths, and don't fit the same roles they work best in. Gallade is a given for those who want brute force. I would have chosen him if I was still going with the brute force tactic, but I'm not that way anymore. I'd rather use Gardevoir. I have yet to know what they are like, but will find out when I get one. An Infernape and Donphan is what I use if I want the building to have a strong base.

I have yet to make use of Psychic Pokemon, sadly. I never really use them outside the story part of the games, which I plan to change.
