I am tired of having to restart the game over and over when i try to save in game next time i coem back to it it's not saved..any advice...oh by the way i use a library computer so i am not able to download anything

In pokemon yellow (and I guess this works for other GBA pokemon games too) you have to save in the game first, and then double click on the play screen and choose "save".
You have to do both of savings in this order, every time you want to save the game.
Does it works for you?

EDIT: You're using the emulator,right? Because this tip works for the emulator.
