Any sort of life? Like maybe microscopic bacteria, etc.

Yes, but I don't believe in the stereotype alien that are in movies. In fact, if we meet another life form on another planet, I don't expect it to resemble humans at all, and don't expect for us to be able to communicate with it.

If there is no "intelligent life" beyond us then there is no god. Intelligent life originates from beyond our world not the other way around.

It's possible, but probably not likely that we'll ever find out.
I do however believe that supernatural beings exist.

It's possible... although very very improbable. I don't think it would be nearly as complex as humans, or probably any other earthly animals... maybe more like bacteria. But at any rate, I agree with tRIUNE, if there is, we'll probably never know.

I think there is life on other planets.

The idea that humans are the most intelligent life in the universe is very arrogant. Even from a Christian viewpoint the idea that we're the only sentient beings in the entire universe is idiotic. Why create everything that is out there only to put humans/being on one tiny planet in one galaxy in the universe.

Well, there has to be. We're just one galaxy and there are millions of galaxies, That means that there are millions of planets out there. How can we be the only life form when there are millions of other planets for there to be life on?!

It may have been before the last post on this thread, but I remember that scientists found water (of some form) on Mars. Where there's water, there may be life. Martians are either far more intelligent than us and are plotting to kill us while we try to figure out if they're real or they are bacteria who pose virtually no threat to us. That or they don't exist.

I'm pretty sure scientists have already found bacteria on Mars, deep under the surface. I don't think there's sentient life out there though.

I don't think there is sentient life on any other planet in our solar system. Maybe just extremophile bacteria. (But you never know!)

But I do believe that there is life somewhere else in the Universe. There is definitely a possibility for it, with so many planets you can't rule anything out.

I've seen 3 UFO's in my life. Whether or not they were actual alien spacecraft is beyond me. Seeing them has made me believe that there is life on other planets. I've also seen and interacted with numerous ghosts during my travels as well.

It was improbable enough that we have a habitable planet here and that there's life on it, but the chances of it happening here and only here is in my mind even more improbable than if there was no life anywhere at all, including here. I think there's something, like some kind of anthrax or cockroach or plant that uses cosmic radiation as a food source. Maybe there's another race of sentience equivalent or slightly below or above ours, and they wonder the exact same stuff we do. If there was a species advanced enough to get here or see us, they're probably advanced enough to make sure we can't see them. I just read a book that kind of joked about this, about how we are the annoying noisy neighbors, constantly blasting radio waves and stuff into space and everyone else just thinks we're so rude they don't even bother talking to us... LOL

I don't thin so, (gasp), if there was well let's hope to god THEY were the mistakes. No god made us in his image and i'd need some serious proof to change my mind. I think all the science fiction geeks (of which i'm one of) jus treally hope for it. However you'd have to be crazy to think that was possible. If you read my comment in evoulution you'd know my stand point on other sentient species.

Even if the odds are 1 in 10 million that a planet is habitable, there are more planets then we can imagine, many capable of being in the "Goldilocks Zone" of being capable to sustain life.

The universe is simply too huge. The multiverse is even bigger. It's just pure odds that says there has to be other living planets out there. I'm sure there are, I'm sure they're completely different from us and have their own cultures, cities, religions, sciences, and all that. We're not the most advance thing in the universe. It's been around 12 billion years? No way humans are top of the pile.

I do believe there could be, very much so. Since the start of this thread I believe they have discovered traces of either plant life or cells, but for sure some form of cell life/ and or bacteria. Maybe they aren't like humans with a highly developed brain, capable of abstract reasoning, language, introspection, and problem solving; or even such mental capacity but maybe more animal like.
