Every time I try to play a Sega Genesis or 32x game it changes the color of my task bar at the bottom of my computer screen to a light blue color, but other than that it opens up normally just like any other game for any other system. The main difference is that there is no sound when I'm playing, which is really weird, because I was playing Sega Genesis games a few nights ago and had full sound and everything when all of a sudden during playing the original Sonic the Hedgehog the sound went out on me. I checked the sound on the task bar and it's working perfectly and even tried to play an N64 game while I had a Sega Genesis game open at the same time and even though the color of my task bar was still altered due to the Sega Genesis game being open, the N64 game still worked perfectly with sound and everything so I really don't think it has anything to do with the task bar's color being changed by the Sega Genesis and 32x games when they are opened up. I'm so lost for what I could possibly do to get the sound back on these 2 systems. They are 2 of my most favorite systems and I'd really like to play the games with sound to be able to have the full experience. If there is anyone out there who has any idea of what might be causing this problem and how I might be able to fix it I would really appreciate your time and assistance.

A lot of poeple have been having this problem and have been posting the same thing that their sound doesn't work only on Sega Genesis and 32X. Try switching browsers and reinstalling the latest plug-in. (If you are using Internet explorer make sure its 8, or swtich browsers to google Chrome or FireFox) I heard some people got their sound back when they switched browsers and re-installed the Plug-In. Try that and post back after restarting your computer and trying it again. hope this helps and hope you get it fixed!
