Ds Roms In Vizzed Retro Game Room

Would You Like To See The One Who Is Charge Of The Roms To Upload Some Ds Games I Read That The Ds Is Coming To An End So If We Had An Emulator Like NO$GBA Apart Of The Plugin You Can Run The Games And Use Cheat Codes As Well But The Problem Is Different Save Formats Like Final Fantasy Games Use The Highest Save Format On The Emulator While Games Like Pokemon Use One Level Lower And Hells Kitchen Uses A Small Save Format The Roms Are Small So It Cant Use To Much space IF we can also figure out the settings and split screen thing then everyone can enjoy the games so what do you think? And What If Sombody Cant Afford A DS They Can Come Here. Its Kind Of Like An Upgraded Version Of A Gameboy advanced.

And We Can Also Allow People To Use Any Codes They Want But The Wrong Codes Could
Crash The Game.

I love the idea of having of having Nintendo DS games on here and would want to play some of those games but feel the controls wouldn't work to well since the games use a double screen and touch screen controls.

I'm not sure that that would work, the retro game room is meant for retro games only, and DS games are still being released, a game is considered retro if it has been completely discontinued and no other system supports it. Nintendo DS would be discontinued in about 6 years my guess.

you're right 6 more years then it is the end
one thing is this no$gba you can use your mouse as the stylus and use your computers keyboard like visualboy advanced.
i even thought it said the gameboy evolution comes out in 2011 so that would mean the games go onto the gameboy evolution console.

Having the DS on the RGR is a bad idea. For one, DS games are very extensive, the loading time would be enourmous. Whenever people mention putting a Playstation or Saturn emulator on Vizzed, the same issue occurs. The loading times would be in the hours on good computers.

Even looking past the loading times, the DS is not a retro system by any standards. I was honestly surprised N64 and GBA emulators went on the RGR, I personally don't consider either of those systems retro. (Not that i'm complaining, I still love those systems.) But the DS? It's a current-gen handheld system, no way retro.

I have done quite a bit of experimenting with DS emulators myself. While the process is coming along nicely, its not quite there yet. Many of the games I tried worked fine, but others lagged and crashed often. Not saying that it could not be done, as the roms for it are normally pretty small depending on the game. I'm just saying that the emulation is not yet perfect. Games like Pokemon and other simple non-demanding games seemed to work well, but those that were graphically intensive had trouble. It also depends on your definition of a classic system. Perhaps in a few years...

Hmmmm, there have past threads about this, and they've been closed down, so I think this should be put down now since most people have seen why this probably won't happen.
