Currently, my favorite bands are Miss May I, The Devil Wears Prada, and Four Year Strong.

I guess you could say my favorite genre is screamo. I like it for the lyrics, the beat, and the message of the song. Miss May I also has some sick double bass and that's always a plus.

I like metal. Mainly death metal. Some of my favorite bands are Lamb of God, The Black Dahlia Murder, Cradle of Filth, The Devil Wears Prada, Oh, Sleeper, Chimaira and almost every metal band. I hate the new deathcore and grindcore genres though. Like Job for a Cowboy and Bring Me the Horizon.

Zack Ate A Baby : I've never heard of Chelsea Grin, but I hate Suicide Silence. I think they sound like everybody else. Though a lot of metal bands sound alike. One of my favorite bands is Meshuggah because they're drumming is amazing and polyrhythms are hard to play.

I hate when people ask me to choose my favourite genre of music. I always just respond "good music." But I don't like any of the new emo/screamo/extremo stuff or any of these metal derivatives. Fugazi and Metallica (outside of Reload and the new album) are the main exceptions that I can think of that fit those labels. Much of the music that I used to listen to was metal, and even I didn't like much of it back then (I like even less of it now).

Lol I don't think many people will have much similar music taste to mine judging by what I've read so far..! I like dance, drum and bass, dubstep, chillout trance, eletronica and pop the most >.< There's just so much variation to it hehe. I do also like J-rock though and J-tek, the only genres I can't stand are death metal, screamo or country. Some of the bands/artists I like are: Boom Boom Satellites, Nightmare, Naibu, Mt Eden, Spheresounds, Chicane, Crystal Castles, High Contract, Infected Mushroom, Eddie Rath and Lykke Li
