That file should be a midi file, according to google you can just use an online converter to make it a mp3.
I havnt tried any mind you, but just search "convert midi to mp3 online" and you should get some good results.
Other then that I guess keep waiting to see if someone will do it for you, cause the file might be smaller/cleaner/better if it is done with some sound tools.
It's just an option you can try if no one else responds
