trouble982 : I don't really care about my degree/certification honestly. You don't need it to be a good web developer. I'm taking the course to learn something useful, not to tout around a piece of paper. After this course I am going to University for four years to get a bachelor's in commercial design. I'll probably be doing freelance website work during that time. After that I hope to get hired designing websites by a company (I don't really like the idea of freelancing because it's not steady work).

We have a famous dessert that you may have heard of - Nanaimo bars. It's a three-layer bar of cookie/coconut, vanilla custard, and chocolate. We also have lots of farms that make fresh produce (famous for corn, blueberries, cherries). It's pretty awesome, there are co-op/farmer's markets even in the metro Vancouver area.

thenumberone : My favorite class is currently Project Management (strangely enough)... My least favorite is HTML/CSS because it's all review for me, extremely boring at this point. I'm sure it will pick up by the end of this month though.

prasad1 : Once you understand the process of solving a certain 'type' of problem (for example: Trigonometry, long division, or polynomials), you can keep using that process over and over again for any variation of the problem. The hard part is getting your head around it for the first few times.

Really, the best thing you can do is ask the teacher to show you an example. Go through it step by step, write each step down so you can see the problem being solved. If you're at home, look up the steps online.

I've kept my hair long since I was very young, probably about eight years old is when I decided to grow my hair. So over ten years now.

I wouldn't cut it, I like how it looks and I get lots of compliments on it. Sure, it might be worth a lot, but I wouldn't feel good about it. I could also be a high-class prostitute and make tons of money, but I wouldn't feel very good about that either. xD

I like to wear converse because they are comfortable. Ideally I would be able to wear boots/heels all the time, but they are too painful to wear all the time.
