yeah.... we might have to test the idea on a vcs before we implement it... because it might really mess things up. Or at least do some more math or something.... it would be nice to know what the average word count is for the last 6 months or something.... for the entire board and for individual members.... that would be really helpful in figuring out how to factor the word count against the posts.

Day 1 was a spam fest! Well, maybe not spam... the posts I saw were pretty good.... but vizwiz went on a rampage around the board. Great start though. 649 posts today instead of the barely 400 we had yesterday. That's why I love the VCS. It really gets things going around here

Oh, and I know everyone is going to ask about the lm, fm, and such.... it means local mod or full mod.... I'm just too lazy to fix it. It's old code from when the power levels were different. I can't fix the code and I just don't care about getting rid of a couple letters so that people aren't confused

6th place isn't so bad...
but I doubt I could scrape higher for the entire competition, unless vizwiz and BreakDown lose their steam .

bigNATE : I think they will, BreakDown has not been on in a while, just lurking, so this spree won't last long, and vizwiz has to mod another forum. So I hope that I can get in the top 3 today.

7th place is a fail for me, because if there was a June VCS, I would've won, because I was on the top of the ACS every day since the 16th

vizwiz will burn himself out.... or he'll get banned when his post quality drops

and isn't breakdown going out of town or something....

either way I'm not worried. It's just the first day. Still lots of chances to get points.

Darn it!!! I took a vizzed-free day yesterday and come back to find out that a VCS has started!!!

I don't really expect to get top three anyways... maybe top ten...

fair enough. I don't know how high I really expect to rank. I'm pushing myself to post right now because I want to hit 10,000 before the month ends... but once I get there I don't know how motivated I'll be to post anymore.

Yeah, same here... I'm just using the high posting in this VCS to get to 4000 by the end of the month...

I want to see whether the most amount of posts per hour gets crossed...

posts per hour won't.... that was an insane hour of posting.... I highly doubt it will get touched for a long time.

The posts per day is open though.... it wouldn't take too much to get us above 900. We've got the membership now to do it.... and with a vcs going I could see it happen.

I'm not entering. If it's Viz we are winning, I already have my dream item: The V-Machine.

Lol, I just checked the date of the most posts per hour, and found out that I had done 118 posts that day (March 1, 2010).

geeogree : yeah... I think that there is only the chance of beating the daily record...

yeah... that posts per hour record is what caused me to stop the march vcs.

I don't really want to see that record broken any time soon. If the board becomes so big that getting 100 posts an hour is normal then I would like to see the record broken... but since we're not even close to that I hope it's not broken for a while yet.

Count me out david because I rarely post on here and I just don't have the time on here to post, since i'm in school and work. David, i'm just waiting for any kind of game tournament.

geeogree : Why on the last list, you have 14points, and I have only 8?
As far as I remember, I took 8 points during first day and 7 during the second day. So 8+7=15 points!

It seems very obvious now that I probably won't stand much of a chance in this competition, but I'll still post it up!

noelia : that's because I make mistakes

I post the results fairly late at night and I admit I do not add up the numbers correctly all the time. Sometimes I totally miss names on the list and sometimes I just mess up with the adding. Sorry about that.
