Well, Trigger Happy for the Gunners wasn't a bad move though... When I got to the end and fought Shuyin, I had cheated up to Lv 99...and all 3 girls were Gunners. So I just waited for a minute for him to do Terror Of Zanarkand...so he's sitting there thinking he's all great and stuff, and it does a few thousand damage to Paine...and all 3 girls just kinda look at each other like, "Let's kick his ass." And then all 3 raise their guns at once and they all just laid into him with Trigger Happy at the same time That was GREAT

And when you're Lv99 with Trigger-Happy Gunners, each shot from each girl does several thousand damage to him... Hit R1 once, and all 3 girls shoot for a total of easily more than 20k damage. It only took a few shots to take him out

When Aeris was killed, and the background music did it, actually. Lol, just by listening to a sad theme, and then remembering a sad moment, I get all... you know... yeah.

I think it's Aerith in the Japanese version of FFAC... Just because that's what her name was in the JP version of FF7... I'm hoping that, for the sake of consistency, they can get Mandy Moore to do Aeris' voice for FFAC in America. And it wouldn't hurt to have Christy Carlson Romano voice Yuffie again... Kim Possible = Yuffie... That was interesting when I realized that.

I've always called her Aeris... I REFUSE to say "Aerith." There's just simply no way to say it without sounding completely flaming, LOL.

Well when they say Sephiroth in the A One Winged Angel don't they say it Seph e ros.
I am not sure if it because of the Japanese language or the Latin.
But if it is because of the Japanese then wouldn't Aerith be pronounced just like Aeris?

I don't know much about Japanese so that could be totally wrong.

Personally, I dont want celebrities to play their voices
I want the people who play their voices to be people I've never heard of, that way I dont have to picture that celebrity talking when I hear the characters voice.

Yes, in Japanese "Aerith" and "Aeris" would sound the same. Some letters and sounds are interchangeable. Similarly, the Japanese word for "Hello," Konnichiwa can also be pronounced Konnitiwa because the "ch" sound is so light that it sounds similar to a "t." Same thing with "th" and "s." They're both technically correct.

As for Sephiroth, I could definitely hear a "th" and not an "s" when they sang his name...I think what you were hearing was just the Latin sound of it. But oh well.

EDIT: Wow, this thread is getting off topic. Hmm... I'm just gonna make that the point of the thread.
