I would like to be able to play as these skins, but I don't know how to actually put them in, and, I don't even have Resident Evil 4 for PC. (I got Game Cube and PS2 versions, but that don't help none. XP) So, is it possible to download Resident Evil 4 offline? Without needing the CD? If so, that would be great, but no Tourrents or torrents or what ever they're called. Me and them don't get along none to well.

Anyway, if any of you can help me out with that, that would be swell.

I'll give you some advice on the pc version of RE4. The controls virtually make it unplayable unless you have a pc controller. Now pretty much the only way you are going to get that game in its entirety is through torrents. If you don't use torrents, you are bound to get viruses through those nasty rapid shares and warez. Just study up on downloading torrents. If you can't figure out how to port the client, go here http://portforward.com/, and if you need a demonoid account, just ask me or another member who has one. Now if you don't want to go through all that, I heard you can install a mod disc on you ps2 that lets you install mods into your ps2 games. Don't ask me how to get or make these modded discs because you can do the research yourself. Or you can get about $20 and go to gamestop and buy the game without having to try all those solutions. Well, I have the game downloaded from a torrent, but I don't know how to swap the skins and such. Even with the intructions from the following site.

I can't make heads or tales of it, all I do is get a headless model, and it's still the same skin. I don't know what I'm doing.

I looked at the link, andf it seems like its complicated to mod it. This is a reply to that thread : Copy Hunks .pmds, I believe these are in pl06. Rename Hunks PL060*.pmds (* represents the different letters at the end) to Pl000*.pmd. Any which are present in Leon's folder and not in Hunks, create blank text documents renamed to a PMD and replace those files. Also copy hunks textures into the pl00 folder (do not rename them). You'll also need to do this for PL08 which is Jacketless Leon. I think all that means is find the folder with the files for the character, then copy and rename them like it says, and then copy the new files and replace the old ones. I might be wrong, i don't have the game to check it out with.

Well, could someone possibly find me a fully playable version of Resident Evil 4? I tried the torrents I could find, but no dice. One was sort of the version I needed, but main problem, it was an already super modified version, thus actually making it rather impossible for me to even mod with the skins I've found.

Basic rundown of the requirements I need, to help narrow it the search. I need a version that will run without the disk, and already has the skins open for modding, but aren't modded already. That's pretty much all I need.

The only version I was able to get running, was called the "Ultimate Edition (High Resolution)" and the areas to mod the models are open in that one, but things were changed so much, I can't mod it. And it doesn't even actually run right on my PC, and the mods in that don't look none to high res to me. If anything they looked worse.(Mostly because they had these weird little lines.)

So therefore, that mod is out, but I'll list in detail what I'm looking for, so you'll know when you've found the right one.

Key detail, being able to mod the models right from the start. You'll know when you've found one with the models open for swaping when there is a folder called "xfile"(And I swear, if anyone makes a comment on a certain show.......) and inside are folders called "em" "ectmodel" "evm" "obj" "sub" "tex" and "wep". Those are the folders that contain the model data and such.

(There is a way to get th files, but it requires using a certain program to extraxt them, and I tried many years ago, and I couldn't get it to work worth a ding dong. I'd like to be able to do things myself. But there are certain fields, I can't do apparently, even though they seem so simple.)

Key feature, being able to play the game from the start, without having to to go through crazy install methods, yadayadayada ect ect ect, I just want a version where I don't have to go through crack setups and such.

Kind of key feature, having all the stuff unlocked. Like Seperate Ways, this and that. I am willing to go through the game to get that myself if I have to, although having that stuff from the go does make it easier for trying to figure out if your modding right right away.

That's pretty much it. I've been trying my hardest, but it's not good enough. So I hope you guys can help me out.

Slightly different note.

I have considered joining the forum that discusses and hosts all the modding and such that I linked to in my second post here, but I think they would take an instant disliking to me just joinning to ask for simple help and not do much of anything else.

So please, I am in need of help, and even if you don't know this subject yourself, but know someone who does, bring it to their attention, please. I'm pretty much drowning here. =/
