I like the WWE and Tna but as time goes by I'm slowly drifting away. Strangely I find myself liking edge. Meh I started liking him after he came back I'm glad he's not with vikki anymore.

I used to watch WWE, TNA, and ECW but those things don't really appeal to me anymore.

I still follow both WWE and TNA regularly. I'm more interested in TNA, but I've always been a fan of the underdog promotion.
I kind of wish WCW was still around. Sure it was crappy in 2000 and 2001, but at least it pushed the WWE to create some quality shows. Now it feels like WWE is pulling the same boring crap (OMG Cena won again!!!!) and it doesn't feel original. They seem to care more about bringing back old wrestlers or having celebrities host the show than actually create a quality wrestling program. |

geeogree : So true man, I wouldn't like to admit it, but the whole media wrestling product just becomes more of a joke everyday. Dose anyone follow the indies?...you know, ROH, CZW, PWG, or the jappenise promotions, NJPW,AJPW, or NOAH?

I don't follow any of the smaller productions.... or anything foreign. I do catch the occasional good match from ROH but in general I just watch TNA. I just hope that TNA can grow enough to actually force WWE to put out a better product.

Actually WWE's product has improved quite a bit since the whole TNA thing went in full force. It was really stale before then that was when they were doing the same boring crap every week with cena and orton and dx. I think WWE NXT has made a huge difference in WWE's product, their previous show ECW was just a complete joke. A lot of interesting new talent like Wade Barret and Daniel Bryan and Skip Sheffield...
If you were to judge someone being successful in WWE they need good mic skills that is what is good about NXT. They had a talk contest and you could instantly tell wade barret is going to the top that guy has some excellent mic skills. Sure WWE has some really lame moments but think about all the new talent they have breed in the past year and have risen to main event status. Sheamus and Jack Swagger are a few good examples. Wade Barret, Daniel Bryan, Skip Sheffield are going to make WWE a hell of a lot better. I even sensed an attitude moments when Daniel Bryan beat up michael cole just like the old days when SCSA did
WWE actually improved a lot this past year and their new talent is much more entertaining then the current main eventers like Cena or Orton or HHH... They are finally putting together storylines again. Sure the wrestling will never be the same as it was in attitude era but with better storylines and better mic talkers that is what ultimately makes the product good now and days. And actually if you think about it there really is no difference between the old era and new era, The Rock was not considered a great "wrestler" but he had great mic skills just like cena. The Rock, Cena, Stone Cold all basically have a 5 moves total... so nothing has really changed if you think about it. People can't complain wrestling sucks now and days because its the same as it was back then just less violent. If wrestling really was judged on ones wrestling skills I can bet you all the midcarders would be at top because they got more talent then the big dogs. No one wants to see midcarders fight they want to see people with mic skills and who will get then riled up. That is why guys like Cena and Orton are at top and all the other characterless midcarders remain on the bottom. Its business, that is how it has always been even in attitude era. The only difference I see between now and back then is pretty much every wrestler got a major pop now and days you don't see that its because the midcarders have no characters or storylines people like. |

I agree that the WWE has stepped it up in the last 6 months or so.
And did you see Raw? I am loving what they're doing with the NXT guys. It's like WWE has a second chance at the WCW/ECW invasion storyline and they're doing it right this time. Let's just hope with the second season of NXT coming up that the rookies will all band together and there will actually be a realistic feud to have. That could be really interesting. |

Yea NXT is owning raw that is now the only reason why I even go to youtube and watch wwe to see whats up with them. I hope Daniel Bryan isn't really fired though, from what I read its all Linda McMahons fault apparently Daniel Bryan chocking the ring announcer was too graphic and might hurt her campaign or something so he got fired. But who knows... They should just fire all the old talent and start fresh.
Taker, HHH, Cena have been done to death I think its time they hang the boots up and let the new people take over. If we could replace all the lame current talent with these NXT guys I can see WWE turning tides back into attutide era. These guys got tons of character compared to current talent. They are all also pretty entertaining on mic especially Wade Barret, Skip, and David Otunga. |

yeah... well, the old guys draw money. HHH and Taker would sell out an arena with only their names listed....
but I understand what you mean. I think WWE has caught on with what ROH, TNA and others are doing and that is pushing new talent. Now TNA is a dumping ground for old guys too... but their young talent is pretty fun to watch. And ROH/TNA is where at least a half dozen of these NXT guys are coming from. I know several of them have appeared on ROH or TNA in the past few years. TNA just isn't big enough to give contracts to all the young guys like WWE can. I really hope things continue to build though. It feels like things are starting to really pick up on both WWE and TNA. I'm a big enough wrestling fan that I don't care who does it better.. I just want the product to improve. 2000-2009 wasn't great. 1980-1999 was pretty epic... I'm hoping we're in for another 10+ years of awesome again. |

SunflowerGaming : How could you like John Cena?! He only knows 4 moves (like a pokemon), and WWE never let's him lose because it would hurt the kids spirits, I say **** the kids wrestling shouldn't be for them, it should be for people who actually want to be entertained by superstars/divas with actual talent. Oh yeah, and I liked old WWF from 1980-1999.

How could I NOT like John Cena? I don't care how many moves he knows, to me he is a good wrestler. I am allowed to my opinion. My second favorite is Randy Orton. Trust my I do like some of the other superstars, just John Cena is my number one choice.

I do understand where she's coming from.... he's a likeable guy in general. I agree that he's not a great wrestler... but listening to him on the mic makes me not care as much.
I would prefer to watch Edge or Randy Orton wrestle because they tell a better story and I don't feel like I'm just waiting for a 2 move combo and they've won.... but whatever... you can't please everyone. |

I am also a Pro Wrestling Fan. To the degree that 2 years ago I went to Pro Wrestling School for about 8 months in my hometown, and just 2 weeks ago I moved to Ottawa Ontario to get further training in the field. I don't watch it as much anymore since I get my wrestling fix from training, but I still enjoy it immensely and still catch all of the Pay Per Views. |

megarevolution1 : Of course it's fake fighting
Although it's staged, you don't know who is gonna win
I used to be a wrestling freak, but I barely watch any wrestling anymore. I occasionally watch RAW and WWE NXT, but there seems to be something better on each time. |

It's been great lately with the whole Nexus angle, Money in the bank looks like it's going to be a great PPV as well, Some how i hope Miz wins the Raw one.. although it's highly highly unlikely...
And i can't stand John cena, he's a one trick pony, Orton is getting bigger cheers then him now though, I think Cena's mega face status will come to an end soon

I love wrestling, but I only watch WWE and RoH. WWE's been pretty decent lately, but I am not a big fan of these gimmick ppv's (TLC, Hell In A Cell, MITB, etc), but I do hope either Evan Bourne or John Morrison win's the Raw MITB.
I also can't stand John Cena. Sure he's a great guy, but he suck's in the ring, and I find him annoying on the mike. |

I've watched Monday Night Raw from WWE, and i've learned to consider it as the Men's Soap opera, which makes sense. And i've been liking the new guys, like Evan Bourne. And though the idea of a feud between NXT guys and the original Raw guys is a great idea, i think they've screwed it up, and possibly have taken it to far.
