Ok so i just had the best bond thread and have had some good feedback so lets see how you guys do with Batman, Micheal Keaton was Batman for the 1st two movies, Batman and Batman Returns, Then it was Val Kimer who played batman in Batman Forever, Then George Clooney was batman in Batman and Robin, then it went to Christian Bale in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, soooo....who was the best batman ....or which batman movie did you like best?

I've always been a fan of Michael Keaton's Batman portrayal. While George Clooney and Val Kilmer did a terrible portrayal as Batman, seriously Joel Schumacher totally ruined the character of Batman. Bale does an okay job as him, though he does it TOO dark.

I'm going to go with Michael Keaton. These new batman movies are dumb. I like the old school stuff better, not only did it have better actors but it also had better vehicles.

I think my bias goes towards Christian Bale only because the new movies are so fun to watch. If I was honest I would say Keaton was the best. Bale is a close second though. I do like the darker Batman, but I agree with XF. He's almost too dark.

Still I'm really glad that the Batman series has been redeemed after Val Kilmer and Clooney were batman.... those were bad movies.

I prefer Keaton as well, although Bale wins a close second. He is, as xfighter said, kinda too dark, but otherwise he does a good job. Kilmer and Clooney were, quite frankly, rather horrible as the Dark Knight, IMO. Clooney was too lighthearted .

To be honest with you my favorite Batman is Kevin Conroy. He did the voices for Bruce Wayne and Batman in the Animated series, the animated Batman movies along with the Justice League. I just feel he does the best job of conveying the differences between Bruce and Batman. Then again, he is a voice actor so it is one of the things he does best.

I'd have to toss it up between Kilmer and Keaton. Clooney, for obvious reasons (even my mother agrees and she's in love with him), was a terrible choice to play Batman. And he coulnd't even finish a single sentence without a pause for breath. He was, on the other hand, a great Bruce Wayne, I think. He did better than all the rest at playing the rich playboy role. You see, there exists this thing known as the Dark Knight Universe, which was created by Frank Miller. It is darker, more ruthless, and in many ways more realistic. Batman is a vigilante, remember that. He is not a superhero from another world, he is a human man with human flaws.

That said. Aside from the great Adam West, who shall forever be Batman in the hearts of millions, I liked Keaton and Bale's performances best. Kilmer was not suited for the role and I just despised Batman and Robin. Granted, Clooney did seem to try but he could not save that script, it was just too bad.
