I am unsure if this should be here or in the Retro game room section but this relates mostly for that specific section.

On the RGM itself there is a search to find any game quite easily. I was wondering if a search bar could be included in the Vizzed board itself. There are already so many questions about game problems or errors in the RGM section of the fourm and it can be difficult to see if a game has been talked about before.

If there was a search button on the board a person could search, lets say harvest moon 64 and see if there have been any threads created in the past to notify the admins that it is not working. If no results appear then the person would be free to make a thread about it.

This would cut down multiple threads on the same game as well as allow for specific game help or tips to be searched easily. When this place grows in numbers as well it will allow for much easier information gathering for those who are not as familiar with the board itself.


This is my suggestion, I think it would be a fine addition to an already spectacular site and if you think so too please comment and think about it.

I agree. I'm wanting to make a thread, but I'm not sure if it has been done before. A search function for the board would be great, especially because redundant topics are a no-no.

There are plans to make a fully working search for the site, but the site owner has a few other things that he wants to take care of first before making it.
In the meantime I have seen Davideo7 mention that you can try using the google search that is on the front page.
I know my self that this search isnt as good as an in site search would be, but it will have to do for now, at least until Davideo7 has time to look into the search engine for the forums.
