If you get bored, you can start worrying about little things such as "I wonder how much paper is in the printer". If there is none, then you will go to the store to pick some out. If the car dosen't start up or they are out of paper, that can lead to stress.

Boredom can cause you to do numerous things strictly out of impulse and the things you do can adversely affect you in some way either mentally or physically. Say youre bored and you scarf a pint of ice cream. Now youve gotten all that crap in you. Fats and sugars and stuff. Now you feel like a piggy. Say you get drastic about it. You go and try to throw up. Now youre sticking a finger down youre throat. You have forgotten that earlier in the day you did some vehicle maintenance and youve got chemicals on your hands. Now youre throat is burning. Youre getting an allergic reaction. You try to call 911 but you cant speak. they send paramedics but its TOOO LATE BUSTER. You die of suffocation due to a closed throat because of an allergy to bug and tar remover. Boredom can kill see? Be careful!

Like some people said before me, I don't think boredom makes you stressed out... it's more that it makes you think about things and/or something to do. For me, it tends to make me think about things that I don't really want to think about too much, which can get me sad or something like that.
