If you mean Auto-Start events:

1. Open the event you want to end.
2. Double click in the big white window, below everything else in there.
3. On page 1, find the switch thing. (I use 2k3, so I'm not sure what it's named in 2k)
4. Select an unused switch, I guess if you don't know how to do this, no switches are used yet.
5. Name the switch. (optional)
6. Set it to be turned ON.
7. Back in the event window, make a new page, with the button at the top of the window.
8. Find the trigger conditions thing, and double-click inside "switch".
9. Set it to the same switch as the one you made a moment ago.
10. Back in the event window, change it from Auto-Start to anything else.

That should work, I think.

I know it's very basic, but I wanted to try out a new way to say things, my "guides" are often really hard to understand. Is this one hard to understand?

Those switches and stuff really suck. And worse, you can only use them once in a game. And on RpgXP, they give you local switches, which could be used millions of times. In simple. To end a item event, once you get one. Here's how:

------------------

1. On event commands, activate the item or whatever that you want to get.
2. Create a new event page. (You should know how).
3. On that second page, look under "event conditions" and you will see the item box or whatever. Select the item that you have activated on your first page to the event conditions part of the page.

------------------

How things would run?

When you get the item on the first event page. The event condition will automatically know that and trasfer you to the second page. Then you can end the event or whatever there without using them dumb switches. Take note that this event also works for getting characters and the timer or whatever. I hope I didn't miss anything, however, showing you a simple way in case it comes to an item event or somthing.

Yeah, I use 2000. But only to try learning new things with it. Figuring out stuff here and there. I'm making my games using XP though. And also I can use 2003. Since winXP has support for all three of those, but 2000 and 2003 runs much better for me. Yeah, I've been good in helping people with there problems. And I'm darn good proud of it.
