I think that the chat bar has made PMs more of a secondary communication... I get to know the users a lot better when using the chat bar to talk...

I talk on it all the time. It's a great way to meet people and it's always fun to just be sitting here and then hear the familiar "plop" sound of a random person wanting to chat with me. Never is there a day where people leave me alone, but I actually expect it enough to not mind at all. Lol
