What do you think about Doctor Kevorkian and what he did?

Not sure who this is really but after a quick search and seeing some quotes the person is obviously very mentally ill who gets off on seeing others die.

What kind of doctor makes his patients commit suicide? A mentally unstable on that's who. He is a deceiver, deceivers are evil plain and simple. He isn't working for god he is working for the devil.

I don't know about you but I can easily spot this guy easily works for the devil. Deceivers like this pose as heros but in reality he is tricking you to kill yourself. Killing yourself is bad and you will go to hell for it. God does NOT like it period. This guy needs to get hanged, stabbed, burned and sent to hell with the rest of his patients.

i think kevorkian is completely wrong with most of this statement. god does decide but if it was a persons time to die they would die any way but if they go to a doctor and live then it wasnt thier time to die.

What is funny about it all is he goes on a religious rant about not interrupting god yet he doesn't believe in god. The guy is a total hypocrite, he is against helping others as a doctor yet he is a doctor. He is the only one interrupting gods plans not the other way around

Going to a doctor to die is like purposely going to a bank to get robbed. His logic is upside down, if god doesn't like doctors playing god then he will surely kill the person before they can get any help.

Also we have to play god at times. When we make babies or grow food that is playing god. Every choice we are given is like playing god, he must not know that.

Example: I can shoot someone or let them live, that is playing god. So by him not helping patients and making them commit suicide by his deceiving is also playing god. Hence, he is a total hypocrite. Evil people work with deception like this nutcase.

If I tell you robbing a bank is good and will end your financial suffering will you believe it and follow through? This example is just like his, its pure manipulation and deceiving. He is only thinking about "in the moment" and not about the after effects of such decisions. If I kill myself my pain will go away, but if there is an afterlife chances are I would rot in hell from that. If I rob a bank I'm temporarily rich, but after I get caught I'm screwed. His head isn't screwed on right.

Yes, this man is completely insane, they shouldn't have believed him when he diagnosed himself with Hepatitis C. His catchphrase is "dying is not a crime", he "helped" at least 130 people die.

He is a bad man, if he was a real doctor, he would HELP them, not kill them for his pleasure in a Volkswagen.

While his actions do violate the Hippocratic Oath, I do not disagree with Euthanasia. If you are living in endless suffering and all that is keeping you alive is a machine then is it really living? I think that if you make the decision and put it in writing while you are "still of sound mind" then it should be honored, just like a DNR order (do not resuscitate.

I don't see how anyone can sleep at night when they have a career in helping people commit suicide. I think that doctor had no soul.

JigSaw : he "makes them commit suicide?" from what I understand he provided a painless way out of cancer and such. Does he hold a gun up to their head and say shoot yourself?

Anyone with a brain knows suicide is an option so why should he receive clients money for him to say go kill yourself? The point of getting a doctor is to cure yourself not end yourself.

People don't go to hospitals because they want to die they go there to get healed. This includes mental hospitals too, if people wanted to die they would not need anyones approval or help they would just do it as nike would say.

JigSaw : part of a doctor's job is to end suffering. Now it could be heal the patient, or even help them die if they have an incurable disease. would you like to Live for years in a body that is slowly betraying you, day by day?

If I was terminally ill and i had the choice to either die peacefully or suffer for x amount of time and slowly die in pain, i think ill chose to be put down. He never forced anyone, in fact they had to go thru psychological tests and medical tests and he would only do it if they were terminally ill. and as far as a doctor is suppose to cure you not help u die, somethings can't be cured. plus i believe that the quality of life is what matters not the quantity.

Im all for euthanasia in certain situations, but this dude was a sociopath. Thats why he went to jail for performing one of his "assisted suicides" while he wasnt even a licensed to practice medicine.

I think what he did was wrong, sick, twisted, and evil. He is truly the most disgusting person on the earth. He thinks people should live as long as possible without suffering, yet there's no way he hasn't suffered from an illness ( defianotly suffers from something to make him that crazy). Why don't I go smash his head a few times to get brain cancer so he can ,as he says, "suffer" and then he can go with the rest of his patients, or should I say, "victems"! He truly is the devil.

megarevolution1 : Well he will probably die soon he has hepatitis or something. Thats how he got released from jail so early, he told the parole board that he was going to die within months. But that was 2 years ago, so either he lied or he is running on fumes.
