fun facts (Super Paper Mario):

This is the first Paper Mario game where the cutscene before the title sequence chronologically occurs later in the game. In this case, the cutscene is what had happened after Count Bleck invaded Bowser's Castle and took off with Peach, Luigi, and Bowser.
Unlike the prequels, Stars do not play a major role in the game, and are instead replaced by Hearts.
There was one change in the game's script between the two English localizations of Super Paper Mario: in North America, Dimentio insults Luigi by calling his mustache a "shag", but as this doubles as a vulgar slang-term in Britain, it was changed to "Pushover" in the PAL region.
At the beginning, in Mario's house, pictures of Mario's partners from the previous two Paper Mario titles can be seen.
Mario's partners are all final bosses in the Paper Mario games: Bowser in Paper Mario, Peach in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (possessed by the Shadow Queen) and Luigi in Super Paper Mario (combined with Dimentio).
A Gold Fuzzy made an appearance on the back of the guidebook, but no Gold Fuzzies appear in-game.
Even though Luigi is a playable character, he is not mentioned on the back of the case or in the instruction manual.

fun facts (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door):

All of the partners from the first Paper Mario were originally going to make cameo appearances in this game, but were scrapped from the final product for unknown reasons. However, Parakarry and Lady Bow were the only ones who made the cut.
During the cutscene that took place after the Grodus battle in Chapter 8, there is a slight error in the game script. When Grodus attempts to destroy Mario and company by using Peach as a shield, Mario's current partner will ask what they should do, and if the "Don't attack." option is chosen, then Grodus will question them, stating: "WORM! You dare defy me? Do you not care for the life of your princess?" when that should have happened if the "Attack." option was chosen instead, and vice versa. However, he was most likely bluffing about this, as he needed the princess as a vessel for the Shadow Queen.
The data disk that Princess Peach obtained from Grodus' room resembles the disks that are used for the Famicom Disk System. Also, the video that's displayed on Grodus' computer happens to be the BIOS screen for that system.
In Chapter 5, after Flavio temporarily joins the party, if the player has Yoshi Kid as their ally, then this will be the only time in the game where Yoshi Kid carries two people on his back instead of just Mario.
The intro story is very similar to the intro story of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. But, instead of a city sinking, a whole kingdom sinks

and similarities to the original, Paper Mario:

The opening is identical to that of the previous game, right down to Parakarry delivering a letter from Princess Peach.
The first partner of both games is a Goomba that will give Mario hints on both enemies and the area. They both have headbonk, tattle, and multi-bonk as attacks.
The second partner of both games is a Koopa Troopa. Both will be able to be shot out to hit switches, etc. Both of them are also able to use Shell Toss and Power Shell in battle.
The fourth partner of each game will allow the player to travel across gaps, Parakarry and Yoshi, respectively.
Both games have a Bob-omb as a partner, both are able to destroy cracked surfaces, Bombette and Bobbery, respectively.
Both games have a partner that allows Mario to become invisible to enemies, Bow and Vivian, respectively.
Both games have a partner who is able to uncover hidden items, and whose basic attack pierces through defense.
Both games have a partner who has betrayed an enemy to join Mario's party, Lakester and Vivian, respectively.
The main plot point of both games is to find seven stars.
In both games the player is able to play as Peach between chapters. The player is required to dress Peach up as an enemy to learn secrets. Also, the player can cook something in both games. In TTYD, Bowser's side-quest is separated from Peach's, as he is not the one who kidnapped her.
In the first "Paper Mario," one of the articles that is posted on the back of Toad Town is about a fan of Princess Peach who says he's been cheated when he paid a large amount of coins only to receive three horribly unfocused photos of the princess. In TTYD, when Mario visits Petalburg, he meets a Koopa who is obsessed with Peach, and has numerous posters, etc. of her. This may have been the fan that wrote the complaint in PM.
As with the first Paper Mario game, a main antagonist sees Peach disguised as a minion, and remarkes on how she smells "too nice".
Mario and Peach contact each other using friendly characters in both games. Twink helped in Paper Mario and TEC in The Thousand-Year Door.
Mario must solve a mystery in both games. A Bumptie is Mario's fellow detective in both.
In one point of the games, Mario falls for a ploy created by the boss of the level which led him to be confined in a cage. A ? block in Paper Mario, and a fake puni pedestal in The Thousand-Year Door.
Chapter 1 in both games features a castle/fortress as the location of the boss.
The partner acquired in Chapter 2 in both games required Mario to bring him or her an item.
An oversized Clubba is the boss of Chapter 3 in both games, and both have a secret that involves making themselves powerful.
In both games, at one point, Mario has to chase the Chapter 3 bosses (Grubba and Tubba's Heart).
Moustafa and Flavio both give the player stones needed to reach an ancient, rumored to be haunted, place, and the boss of both places sends threats along the way.
Buying a Dried Shroom and another certain item along with it was a secret sign in both games that was required to reach Moustafa and Don Pianta.
Chapter 5 takes place on a tropical island with coconuts in both games and both involve an expedition. Also, in both games this is when Mario's oldest partner joins him, and they both have to be rescued from being stuck in a tree before they do so.
The Chapter 5 bosses, Lava Piranha and Cortez, are similar as Cortez's spine in his first form and Lava Piranha's stem are in the exact same position, and both of them have multiple forms, each with the same amount of HP.
In both games, Princess Peach must make something. Also, in both games, if she makes a mistake in the directions of making it, it will come out wrong (Making a cake for Gourmet Guy and making the invisibility potion)
After the battle against Cortez was over, one of the Toad sailors will tell everyone that he feels a "slight wind" coming from the cracked wall, just as Misstar did in the first one. Also, the Bob-omb partner of both games is needed to blow that up. Also, the most frequently fought boss of both games conveniently show up after Chapter 5 is completed.
Chapter 6 takes place in a beautiful area and has a boss that can do a very high amount of damage when charged up: 16 for Huff N. Puff, 10 for Smorg. Also, both are blob-shaped and made up of a smaller species. Additionally, Ruff Puffs appear in the sixth chapter of both games.
Chapter 7 features a snowy recogion.
Chapter 8 includes a battle against Bowser before the final battle. Also, Kammy Koopa is fought in both chapters.
The main villain of both games (which have kidnapped Peach) had to be chased through long stairways in the eighth chapter of both games.
Mario's final battle is divided into multiple parts. At one point, each boss is invincible and Peach plays an integral role in negating that invincibility.
Peach conveniently gets taken away in both games right before Mario and company reach the hideaways of the games' main antagonists.
In both games, there is a scene where Mario can turn into 8-bit Mario with Super Mario Bros. music playing.
Both games have Merlon standing outside his house, waiting for Mario and his partners to show up, where he'll tell them about a dream that he had, and will tell them to let him know if they find out the meaning of it.
Both games have a spike room where Bow's Outta Sight or Vivian's Veil must be used, and the position of the paths across the spikes are identical.
Both games feature a boss who poses a threat by eating people (Tubba Blubba and Hooktail), and both of these bosses have a secret weakness.
Both of the ghost bosses (Tutankoopa and Cortez) try to intimidate Mario by uttering threats as he progresses through the level.
Both games include a test that Princess Peach has to take and has information that will help Mario in the future.
Both games end with a parade led by Luigi (though in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door it's not really a parade, and is mainly a line of all the character's shadows used as a way to show everyone).

Paper Mario fun facts:

This is the only Mario RPG game that has Bowser as the main antagonist. In all of the other RPG games, Bowser is either an ally, a minor foe, or a penultimate boss.
This is the only Paper Mario game that has no optional partners.
Part of the title screen's music is a remix of the Super Mario World overworld music.
If the player waits a while when a chapter title is show on screen, the Super Mario Bros. theme will be played.
At the end of the game after the player beats Bowser, Mario's Ultra Hammer is gone, but his Ultra Jump isn't.

and similarities to SMRPG: The Seven Stars:

In fact, Paper Mario was originally going to be called Super Mario RPG 2, but was later renamed "Super Mario Adventure" (while still in development) due to legal reasons, eventually it received its current title to emphasize the unique graphical style of the game.
The Snowman Doll item was possibly inspired by Mallow's Snowy ability.
Mallow's Shocker ability returns as a usable item in this game, though in the English translation it is referred to as Thunder Rage.
As with Super Mario RPG, Bowser was the very first boss that was fought in the game.
After the cutscene that took place when Mario was defeated by Bowser, the Paper Mario logo was displayed in a similar manner to how the Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars logo was displayed after Exor crashed into Bowser's Keep and destroyed the Star Road.
The Shy Guy riot in Toad Town was most likely inspired by Mack and the Shysters' takeover of the Mushroom Kingdom in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.
Both Paper Mario and Super Mario RPG contain karate dojos.
The Master is Paper Mario's equivalent of Jinx, as they are both powerful senseis that are fought three times (with each battle getting harder), and are completely optional. The Master also shares the role of an optional boss harder than the final, main boss, like Culex.
The plot of both games involve finding seven stars, and had something to do with wishes not being granted, due to what the games' main antagonists have done.
The opening storylines of both games begin with the usual "Mario battling Bowser to save Peach" scenario, when suddenly a powerful new enemy appears, sending Mario hurtling a great distance away. In Paper Mario, Bowser remains the main enemy, and uses the Star Rod he stole to overpower Mario.
In both Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and Paper Mario, Bowser's castle was unreachable throughout most of the game(s). In Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, it couldn't be reached, due to the fact that the bridge was taken down. In Paper Mario, it was because it was all the way up in the sky.
Mario uses jump and hammer attacks, which in both games have regular, super, and ultra variations(both have the three hammer variants, but the jump variants in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars are special moves Mario learns, whereas Paper Mario has these variants as the boots Mario finds to improve his jumping ability).
Mario's first partner in both games has a special move that identifies the enemy (Mallow's "Psychopath" and Goombario's "Tattle").
While Shamans in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars are mostly enemies, some Shamans in the game are friendly. In Paper Mario, Merle and his family, who appear to be Shamans, help Mario at various points in his adventure.
Paper Mario's green Hyper-Goombas may have been inspired by SMRPG's similarly colored Gu-Goombas.
Both games feature a special area where Mario can turn into 8-bit Mario, complete with 8-bit sounds and music.
In both Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and Paper Mario, Mario can travel to an island where Yoshis live. In fact, Mario needs to travel there in the latter to save one of the Star Spirits.
During the second boss battle with Bowser, he has the ability to temporarily disable some of Mario's commands, similar to how Bowyer would disable certain button commands in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.
Both games feature a volcano as a location where a star is hidden. Both areas had an escape sequence after locating the Star, though the reason behind it is different (in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, the Axem Rangers were escaping with the Star; in Paper Mario, the volcano was erupting).
A parade took place during the endings on both games, and Luigi led them both. Both parades ended with a fireworks display.
Both Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and Paper Mario featured a Hammer Bro. who runs a quiz show.
During the parade in the ending of Paper Mario, Twink flew by with Mario and Peach waving at him, just as Geno did in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.
Both games featured antagonist groups that were based off characters from TV series (the Koopa Brothers were based off of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, while the Axem Rangers were based off of the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers).
In both games, the battle for the sixth star took place in the sky (the Axem Rangers battle and the Huff N. Puff battle).
Both games had a party member to fight against Mario first before joining him (Bowser and Lakilester).
Both Super Mario RPG and Paper Mario had three-headed Piranha Plant bosses (Lava Piranha and Smilax).
Paper Mario, just likes its predecessor, happens to lack an Endless Play mode, where the player could continue playing the game after it's been beaten.
Paper Mario Uses action commands to increase damage dealt and decrease damage received, much like in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Mario has these abilities from the beginning in SMRPG, but in PM, he cannot use them until he receives the "Lucky Star" from Peach.
Both games were released towards the end of their respective console's life. SMRPG was released for the Super NES in May of 1996, four months prior to the launch of the Nintendo 64. Paper Mario was released for the Nintendo 64 in February of 2001, and the Nintendo Gamecube was released in November of that year.

Pokemons Like Jynx and Porygon are only found in the game and never shown in the show due to the fact how people think that Jynx is a racist Pokemon and Porygon gave more than 700 people a seizures in the show due to the red and blue shining lights that repeatedly kept shining.

Um, fun facts.....lets see here....
Mario's surname is Mario. So his full name is Mario Mario
Which means Luigi's last name is Luigi Mario. Crazy huh?
Also, the first level of Super Mario Bros. for the NES, or more accurately, the first part of the first level, was designed to teach the player mushrooms were good, but Goombas were bad, because they looked so alike.

Although he is implied in the manual to be the "regular" variant, the Red Snifit in Super Mario Bros. 2 strangely appears as an enemy only once in the entire game.

The American version of Super Mario Bros. 2 is a "Marioized" version of a very similar game called Doki Doki Panic, which was only released in Japan.

While Super Mario Bros. 2 is often seen as a simple copy of Doki Doki Panic, it made several improvements, most notably the addition of the run button.

Doki Doki Panic, although originally having nothing to do with the Mario series, was created by the same team that made Mario games at the time.

Did you know that in Brazil (Southamerica) the Sega consoles are still popular??

Yep, When the Master system finished his era, in Brazil they maked ports of games from the Game Gear? Plus, they have released the Master system 3 and included some kind of "Guitar Hero" game with his own guitar to play with.

Did you know that the "Chain-Chomp", a common enemy in the Mario saga.(A big black ball with eyes and mouth that appears for the first time in Super Mario Bros 3) is based on a Dog that used to scare Shigeru Miyamoto in his childhood? (Of course, the Dog used to be chained.)
