I remember my first birthday but only because I've seen video of it so it triggered my actual memory.

My childhood memories don't really exist to me. I don't think I had much of a childhood, because I have little to no memories of my life. I actually can't remember very much past last year. I have memory problems, so I really can't say what my first memory is.

My very first memory is from when I was like 2 years old, maybe even younger. Something happened where we didn't have a home at the time and my parents and I were temporarily living in a big tent outside. I guess it was summer because I remember it being really nice out. My mom was making breakfast on a grill I think and I was standing outside the tent drinking a cup of juice. A yellow labrador type dog (golden retriever maybe) came up to me and i was petting it. I put my juice up to the dogs mouth and tried to give it a drink and my mom yelled at me. LOL. I'm pretty sure that's my first memory.

I just asked my mom about that time in our lives and she was like "That's not a good time to remember". I asked her how old I was and she said I was 2 or 3. Then she went on to say I used to always lean on the side of the tent and my dad would scream and yell at me about it because he didn't want the tent to get leaks or get messed up in any way and it would upset her really bad that he was screaming at me and she would be like "He doesn't know any better. He's 2 years old!!!" LOL. I actually dont remember any of that stuff, only the first part i typed.

Due to a medical condition that I have memories for me are few and far between and it usually takes something to trigger a memory that is farther back than 4 to 5 years. With that being said there is one memory I have from Easter when I was 5 years old. It is not a particularly pleasant memory which is probably why I can remember it.

We were celebrating Easter at my cousins house, and since it was a nice day out some of us were eating outside. I did not realize that my cousin's dad had shot a woodchuck earlier in the week and that their dog Bently had drug it up next to the picnic table that Jordan and I were walking towards to eat it. As we approached the table Bently attacked me and bit my face. He bit me around the eye, a tooth went through my nose, and through my lip. My cousin's mom fainted when she saw my face, and I also remember after getting back from the hospital we did our annual Easter tradition and watched Monty Python's Holy Grail.

My first memory is a blue sticker that my dad gave me when I was 3 years old.
Although, I remember it, I can't find it

I have a memory in which I was on a ferry staring out of a small window at the water down below from my seat. To me, it looked like clouds that bubbling from all the splashing. Why I saw it as clouds I don't yet know. I had some kind of fascination with the sky/clouds or magical things without even knowing it. As a result, I was picturing us being high in the sky with the clouds below acting violently. Kinda cool. I didn't know it was a ferry we were on until I told my mom about the memory several years ago. We were in Germany, where I was born. Both parents were in the military at the time and we lived there for 4 years before moving back to the states.

That memory, she said, was from when I was 6 months old. Kinda hard to believe a baby that young can develop good memories.
