A lot of people in tournaments for SSBB use the tiers to choose their character.The tiers are basically saying how strong it is and how well would it fight against others in its tier.Characters in the top tiers have the best use in special techniques and is best to use while the ones in the bottom tiers have the worst special techniques and should only be used against others in that tier.It is common in fighting games,but a lot of people say that tiers are useless and that all characters play the same and depend one the player in the most part.So now I am asking you,keep the tiers since they are useful or,drop the bomb on them and

It is true that all characters have advantages which none of the others have, and it is also true that a lot of the advantages are difficult to exploit. The tier lists aren't complete garbage, but they will artificially reinforce themselves because a lot of people will take them as the gospel.
