Mega Man V gave us different types of robot masters. These robot masters are alien in nature and are called the stardroids. There is a total of 10 of them with 9 of them being named after planets. Saturn is one of the 9 named after a planet, and made his debut in Mega Man V for Game Boy.

Background- At sometime after Mega Man IV for Game Boy Wily discovered Sun Star an alien robot made out of material that general weapons did not effect him. When Wily discovered this he used Sun Star as a template to create 9 alien robot masters. He created Terra to be the commander of them. Thus, he created Saturn.

Terra commanded the first wave of Star Droids to attack the Earth in the first wave. Terra defeated Mega Man and the 4 Stardroids he sent to Earth took over a lot of the metro areas. Saturn did not participate in the first wave. After the first wave Terra retreated.

Saturn took over an old alien space station on his namesake planet. He rigged the space station with several traps. He eagerly waited for Mega Man. However, after Terra defeated Mega Man Dr. Light changed Mega Man's weapons that would damage the Star droids as general weapons were not effective against them.

Mega Man after defeating the first four traveled to the space stations to take the Stardroids on their home turf. He eventually landed on Saturn and defeated him. After the events of Mega Man V it is shown that Saturn is still alive.

Appearance- Saturn is an average height Star Droid. He has a large ring around him as he is named after the planet Saturn, which is known for its many rings. He has mostly brown armor with brick red gems, and white shoes and hands.

Personality- Saturn loves to use his ability to temporarily freeze time for a few seconds. He also loves to use his ring to create a black hole and draw things to him. He loves to do hula hoops. He is also loyal to his comrades. On the other hand, Saturn can be lazy. He likes to use his black hole to draw objects to him so he does not have to go up and get them. He loves to have the latest things however he is very bad with money. He hates playing video games because he is very bad at them.

Attack- Saturn has a few attacks. His main attack is to use his ring to create his black hole. Saturn during this attack will pull opponents/player toward him to either collide with them or shoot them with regular buster shots. He can also freeze time stopping the player and allowing him to use buster shots. He is also very effective at sliding trying to once again slide into his opponent. His ring can not just create black holes but he can use it as a weapon as well similar to Ring Man.

Weakness- Saturn is week to Electric shock and electricity in general. The electric shock keeps him from using his black hole and it also shorts him out. Another weakness is the photon missile as that can also stop his attacks. Both weapons can lock him into a pattern. Also, he is more effective at close range combat if he is fought from a distance their is delay in his attacks.

If the player defeats him they will gain his black hole weapon. The player can create a black hole to attack enemies with multiple hits and can pull some objects toward the player.

As stated Saturn is named after the planet Saturn. His ring as his main attack is a reference to the rings of Saturn as Saturn is known for its many rings. This is also why he likes hula hoops because it involves ring, and he is very good. He does not like playing video games because he is horrible at playing them.

Saturn is similar to both Flash Man and Ring Man. He is similar to Flash Man because Flash Man can temporarily freeze time just like Saturn can. Ring Man main weapon is his rings just like Saturn uses his rings for combat.

After the events of Mega Man V Saturn is still alive, but it is not known if he still works for Wily. It is speculated he still does in some way. It should be noted Saturn is one of the few Star droids that have something characteristic of the planet they are named after. In Saturn's case it is his rings. This concludes the Saturn Biography.
