Mega Man 6 like most Mega Man games introduced us to 8 new robot masters. Wind Man was one of the new robot masters introduced in Mega Man 6. Indeed, Wind Man made his debut in Mega Man 6. He is an air themed robot master.

Background- Wind Man was built by a Chinese organization. Originally, he was created to help with agriculture by preventing frost on the plants, and for helping dry the plants out during heavy rain. In addition, he was created to also research air dynamics. He also had combat abilities.

Before the events of Mega Man 6 his creators entered him into the Robot Tournament as they though him having martial arts skills, and his powerful winds he could create would make him a favor. However, the Tournament which was sponsored by Mister X, who turned out to be Wily, was a ruse.

Dr. Wily took the 8 tournament robots and modified them into combat only robots. Wind Man was modified and seen as an improvement over Air Man. Wily ordered Wind Man to take over the air base he was studying air dynamics in his latest scheme to take over the world. Wind Man designed his base full of spike traps, pit traps, and even wind traps.

Mega Man entered his base and confronted Wind Man. Wind Man put up a good fight but was defeated by Mega Man. Although, he has not appeared in any combat roles since Mega Man 6. It is hinted that he was rebuilt possibly going back to agriculture and studying air dynamics.

Appearance- Wind Man is a human like robot. He often is seen with wind turbines on his shoulder. He also is very bulky and has jets in his shoes that allow him to move around and even glide. He has a buster cannon on one of his arms. He appears to have mostly tan and orange colored armor.

Personality- Being from East Asia he is skilled at cooking and Martial Arts. He loves to practice Martial Arts during his spare time. He also likes to watch fighting movies. He is mostly portrayed as being cheerful and energetic. He also does not like herbal medicine because that comes from poaching animals. He has a rivalry with Air Man. Wind Man sees himself as an improvement over Air Man and even Wily has stated that. However, Air Man sees him as a copy of him. Despite both being air themed robot masters they tend to not get along.

Attack- Wind Man has several attacks. He can use his turbines to pull the player/opponent in toward him to collide with him doing serious damage. He can also use his jets to float or glide across the room in hopes of landing on his opponents. His main attack though is to fire propeller like projectiles at his opponent. He can also create large amounts of wind with his wind storm weapon.

Weakness- He is week to the Centaur Flash as that messes with his gravity and air sensors. The Flash also stuns him. Without his weakness he can be fought from a distance. He is more dangerous fighting him close range.

If the player defeats him they will get his Wind Storm Weapon. The Player can shoot tornado projectiles at enemies. The Wind Storm works similar to the Bubble Lead from Mega Man 2 except its using air were as Bubble Lead was water themed.

He is bad at riding bikes because his feet are not designed to pedal they are designed for him to glide using jets. Therefore, when he tries to ride a bike he falls out or wrecks. As stated he does not like herb medicine because that comes from poaching animals. Thus, he could be considered an eco friendly robot master that he does not like poaching. He also uses wind energy as his power source which is natural.

As stated him and Air Man do not get a long. Wind Man is seen as an improvement over Air Man. Wind Man is more mobile than Air Man and has more attacks. On the other hand, Air Man sees him as a copy as Air Man is the original and very first Air themed robot master. They sometimes see who can create the most wind.

Like his rival Air Man Wind Man is an air themed robot master. He shares this with other robot masters such as: Gyro Man, Tengu Man, and Tornado Man. He also uses Wind as his weapon again he shares that with Air Man, Tengu Man, and Tornado Man.

It is revealed that he was rebuilt after Mega Man 6. Given that he does not appear working for Wily in anymore games. It can be speculated he may have gone back to helping in studying air and helping in agriculture. This concludes the Wind Man Biography.
