Mega Man is known for its unique robot masters. A lot of robot masters are based off of elements. While some are based off of things. Charge Man falls into the latter as he is based off of a locomotive. Charge Man made his debut in Mega Man 5 and has gone on to appear in other Mega Man games.

Background- Before the events of Mega Man 5 Dr. Wily created Charge Man based off a locomotive train. His original job was to transport minerals to Dr. Wily. Since his looks and acts like a locomotive he was hard to detect. He also uses coal as an energy source which it costs Wily a lot operate him, but he makes up for it by serving as a train for Wily.

During the events of Mega Man 5 Wily ordered Charge Man to attack the rail road tracks disrupting supply routes. It also gave Wily more access to rail road tracks. After the attack he took over a train station as his base. He seems to have made his base full of spikes and lots of enemy robots.

Eventually, Mega Man tracked him down and stormed his base. Charge Man challenged Mega Man, and despite putting up a good fight he was defeated by Mega Man. After Mega Man defeated him he disrupted Wily's shipments, and he liberated the rail roads.

Charge Man appeared again in Mega Man IV. In this game he protects a rail road and base near Wily's fortress. He also holds a key to part of the shield guarding Wily's fortress. Once again he puts up a good fight but is defeated by Mega Man. It is revealed that he was rebuilt by Wily serving once again as a way for him to receive shipments or get parts to him.

Appearance- Charge Man has a human face but his body resembles a locomotive train. He has coal stacks on his back. In some games he has tracks for his feet that allow him to use his train mode on rail road tracks. He is mostly seen with pink or coral armor depending on the game.

Personality- He is a strong robot master. He has a one track mind and being an ancient power source he likes to talk about the old days. He does not like new things. However, he is said to be a hot head and is easy to anger. He is also quick to fight due to his temper.

Attack- In Mega Man 5 Charge Man can be somewhat difficult. He likes to charge full steam into the player/opponent trying to run them over. When he turns read he shoots out hot coal that can burn his opponents. He also likes to use his charge kick. Despite being bulky when he builds up steam he can move very fast. Due to his size he is hard to clear and jump over. In Mega Man IV he is faster but his attacks remain the same.

Weakness- In both Mega Man 5 and Mega Man IV he is week to power stone. The Power Stone weapon smashes him and disrupts his charging. However, to use power stone the player has to get right next to him leaving themselves open to take damage from Charge Man. Sometimes he can be fought from a distance with charged shots.

If the player defeats him in both games they will get the Charge Kick. The player will be able to do a sliding kick into opponents. This can be useful against ground based enemies. In some games it can even break walls

Here is his CD DAta

An all terrain train transportation robot. He uses coal and water for fuel

Good Point- Straight Forward

Bad Point- Quick to anger or hot tempered

Likes- Past reflections and talking about the old days.

Dislikes- Trendy Fashions and new things.

Him liking to talk about the old days could be a reference to his power source. Coal is an old time power source and he uses coal and water to power himself up. He does not like new things. This could be a reference to new technology.

As stated he is quick to anger and hot headed. He loves to shoot coal even when he is not fighting at whatever is annoying him. He also takes pride in being a train robot master. He also is loyal to Wily as Wily often counts on him to move minerals for him and to his new bases.

Charge Man is one of the more popular robot masters from Mega Man 5 as he has appeared in several other games. The others that have done this from Mega Man 5 is Stone Man, Crystal Man, Gryo Man, and Napalm Man. This could be that Wily values him and his peers that I mentioned. He may use an old energy source but he is strong, and can be reliable. This concludes the Charge Man Biography.
