Mega Man 5 had unique robot masters like most Mega Man games. However, Mega Man 5 had 2 space themed robot masters Star Man and Gravity Man. I have already done Star Man, so I thought I would do Gravity Man.

Background- Before the events of Mega Man 5 Dr. Wily created Gravity Man in an attempt to manipulate Gravity. Wily also created him for Gravity and space research. During the events of Mega Man 5 Gravity Man was ordered to launch an attack along with the other robot masters.

Gravity Man took over a Gravity Space research lab. He rigged the base with traps in order to try and trap Mega Man. He was also doing research for Wily. He was ordered to attack anyone who disrupted Wily's space research. Due to being a combat and researcher type robot master he is not very social.

Eventually Mega Man stormed his lab in an attempt to stop him and liberate the gravity research. Despite his traps Mega Man got through them as his base had several gravity switches. Mega Man encountered Gravity Man. Gravity Man attacked Mega Man and tried to use his Gravity weapons against Mega Man, but he was defeated. It is revealed he was rebuilt by Dr. Wily but has not appeared as a boss in other games. Therefore, he likely continues to do research for Wily concerning Space and Gravity.

Appearance- Gravity Man is a tall, bulky, and human like robot master. He is often portrayed as having black and dark red armor. He seems to have a gravity dial in the middle of his chest that tells him when he has increased or decreased gravity. He has a G on his body for Gravity. He has a buster on one of his arms.

Personality- Gravity Man is a devout and dedicated researcher. He takes his research role in space and gravity very seriously. However, he is not social and is shown to want to work alone. Though he does care for his workers. He can be aggressive as he will attack anyone without Wily's permission and he is loyal to Wily.

Attack- Gravity Man likes to switch gravity on his opponents. He loves to use his gravity hold weapon. He also will try to shoot a buster shot at random. Moreover, he will try to use his weight as advantage. He loves to try to collide into the player/opponent his weight advantage usually works in his favor.

Weakness- Ironically he is weak to the other Space themed Robot Master's weapon Star Crash. The Star Crash blocks his buster shots. Also when he tries to collide into the player Star Crash can disrupt his pattern. In addition, his pattern is simple and he can leave himself open to attacks. Also the player can fight him from a distance. Basically, he is more dangerous in close or short range combat.

If the player defeats him they will get his Gravity Hold Weapon. The Gravity Hold Weapon can be used to change the gravity on small enemies taking them off the screen.

He dislikes areas that do not have much gravity because he cannot use his gravity hold weapon. Also he can not study the gravity.

Gravity Man is a boss in only Mega Man 5. However, he does make cameo appearances in other games. This confirms that Wily did in fact rebuilt him. It is also likely he still conducts research for Wily. Why Wily did not use him again in combat like the other robot masters is unknown. It is speculated that he may have more value as a researcher than as a combat robot master. What is also ironic is that he is weak to Mega Man 5's other space themed robot master Star Man. Star Man's weapon disrupts his pattern and gravity. It could also be a reference to their not being much gravity in cosmic space. Anyway, this concludes the Gravity Man Biography.
