Dust Man made his debut in Mega Man 4. Like most Mega Man games Mega Man 4 introduced us to 8 new robot masters. Dust Man is one of the 8 new ones introduced, so lets learn about him.

Background- Dust Man was created by Russian Scientists Dr. Cossack after the events of Mega Man 3. He was originally intended to be a waste disposal robot and help with the Earth's sanitation. He could suck up trash and even some pollution. He would then break down the trash by using his powerful dust crusher weapon. He originally worked at a sanitation plant which he managed helping dispose of trash.

However, Dr. Wily forced Cossack to do his bidding by taking his daughter hostage. Cossack turned over his 7 robots to Dr. Wily. Dr. Wily modified Dust Man into a combat type robot. Dust Man built his base at the very same plant he managed.

He then put several traps into his base as he anticipated Mega Man's arrival. He was ordered to stop Mega Man by defeating him. Mega Man eventually confronted Dust Man despite putting up a decent fight he was defeated by Mega Man liberating the sanitation base he used to manage effectively.

After the events of Mega Man 4. Dr. Wily rebuilt Dust Man in his latest Scheme to still the Earth's fossil Fuels and hold them hostage this occurred during the events of Mega Man III for Game Boy. Once again he built a base with all kinds of traps and was once again defeated by Mega Man.

Appearance- Dust Man is a human like robot master. He has a round face and has a very large vacuum cleaner at the top of his head. He also has several hoses. He has thick armor that can withstand heat. He has blue and white armor. He also has a buster cannon that he can fire regular buster shots as well as his powerful dust crusher.

Personality- Before being modified by Wily he was an effective manager and every effective at what he does. After being modified by Wily he was more aggressive but not as aggressive as some of his colleagues. He has a personality of always wanting to prove himself especially to his superiors. It is also revealed he is afraid of mice possibly because they can clog up his hoses.

Attack- In Mega Man 4 he will sometimes jump. But he mainly likes to fire his dust crusher weapon. The Dust Crusher is a bomb that has nails in it. When the bomb hits it can break into tiny pieces doing more hits. He also can sometimes fire regular buster shots. He can also try to pull opponents toward him while using his vacuum.

In Mega Man III for Game Boy his attack his similar except he is faster and can fire more dust crushers at a rapid rate.

Weakness- In Mega Man 4 his main weakness is the ring Boomerang as this messes up his timing and can penetrate his armor. In Mega Man III his main weakness is Drill Bomb as it can explode and penetrate his thick armor. Dust Man can sometimes be locked into a simple pattern allowing the player to get extra hits. Also there is a delay in attacks before he starts to use his vacuum this leaves him open.

If the player defeats him they will get his powerful dust crusher weapon. The Dust Crusher Weapon can be used on heavy armor enemies. It can also break apart in some cases allowing extra hits. It is a very effective weapon in both Mega Man 4 and Mega Man III.

Here is his CD Data

A cleaning and sanitation robot he hates clogs

Good Point- He can break down trash and has an appetite for Trash.

Bad Point- He has bad breath

Likes- cleaning

Dislikes- pollen and mice.

His bad breath comes from the fact that he inhales a lot of garbage and destroys the garbage. He does not like Mice because they can clog up his hoses. When this happens he has to detach his hoses to clean himself out. Despite breaking down trash he does not like Pollen. It is implied Pollen makes him sneeze the trash he sucks up back out.

Dust Man like the 7 robot masters that Cossack built had good uses at first before Wily modified them. While he is a combat robot after Wily changes him. He is not as aggressive as some of his peers. He is effective at what he does which could be why Wily has rebuilt him several times. He was rebuilt after Mega Man 4, and again after Mega Man III. It could be that Wily needs Dust Man to break down his own trash or parts from left over robot masters. He seems to be loyal to Wily as he is always working for him. In some ways he is similar to Fire Man as like Fire Man he was created to dispose of waste and some forms of pollution. This concludes the Dust Man Biography
