Mega Man games are known for their unique robot masters. Skull Man, who first appeared in Mega Man 4 is no exception. After appearing in Mega Man 4 he has appeared in other games. Background- Unlike the other robot masters, who were created by Dr. Cossack in Mega Man 4, Skull Man was created by Dr. Wily. Dr. Wily forced Cossack to work for him by taking his daughter hostage. Wily modified all of his robots except for Skull Man, because Wily created him for the get go. Skull Man was created by Wily to be a combat only robot master. Therefore, he was similar to Ring Man. His main job was to defeat Mega Man. Wily equipped Skull Man with cannons and the ability to use a shield in the form of a skull. After being created by Dr. Wily Skull Man built a base that was in theme of bones. He rigged his base with pits and traps for Mega Man. Mega Man eventually made his way through his base and confronted him. He challenged Mega Man to a duel but was defeated. During Mega Man III for game boy Skull Man was rebuilt by Dr. Wily to help him still the earth's oil and fossil fuels to hold the earth hostage in his latest scheme. One again he built a base with more traps, but was once again defeated by Mega Man. Wily has rebuilt him a few times as he has appeared in other games. Appearance- As his name implies he is based off of a skeleton. He is about the same height as Mega Man. He is mostly in white or gray armor. He has cannons on his hands that he can shoot plasma shots. He has a Gem that he uses to produce his skull barrier shield Personality- Like his colleague Ring Man his sole purpose is for combat. He is a good strategists and is very aware of his surroundings. He also loves scaring others. However, since his sole purpose is for combat he is not good in other areas. He does not know how to have any free time. Also, he can be over confident at times believing he can defeat anyone which can sometimes get him into trouble. Also, he often makes insults and says things in very bad taste this can also get him into trouble with his peers. Attack- Skull Man's attack is based on his opponents. Despite being made for Combat he waits for his opponent to attack. Once the fight starts he will try to dash into the player. But he mainly uses his skull barrier as a shield. The shield protects him from most attacks. While he has his shield up he will try to fire regular buster shots. In Mega Man III for Game Boy his attacks have not changed. He will still try to dash into the player, use his shield and try to shoot the player/opponent. Weakness in Both Mega Man 4 and Mega Man III his main weakness is the dust crusher. The Dust Crusher can break his shield and smash his armor. Another weakness is he can be over confident this has lead to his defeat at the hands of Mega Man. Sometimes he can leave himself open for attacks when he lowers his shield. If the Player defeats him they will get his Skull Barrier. The Skull Barrier is a defense weapon as the player can use it against enemies while being protected from their attacks. CD Data A combat only robot whose sole purpose is fighting. Good Point- combat and strategist Bad Point- Says things in very bad taste Likes- Horror Movies Dislikes- pickiness and those that do not put up a challenge. Skull Man is a fan of horror movies as part of his name. He does not like things or peers that are peaky. Also as his CD data suggest he does not like it when opponents do not challenge him. Therefore, he likes a challenging foe. Skull Man is considered an Easter Egg Robot in Mega Man 4. Many fans including myself when I first played Mega Man 4. I was like okay Wily is telling us he is really behind this. A skull like robot master with a symbol similar to Wily. It is very likely this was done by the makers of the game to show who the bad guy really was, and that is why he is considered an Easter Egg in Mega Man 4. He was originally not created by Dr. Cossack like the other robot masters in Mega Man 4. Again he was created by Wily. After the events of Mega Man 4 Wily has rebuilt him like other creations. Ironically despite having a Wily like Symbol on him he has not been rebuilt as much as the other robot masters. It could be speculated that Skull Man could be hard for even wily to control. Anyway, this concludes the Skull Man Biography. Background- Unlike the other robot masters, who were created by Dr. Cossack in Mega Man 4, Skull Man was created by Dr. Wily.
