Mega Man 3 as I have stated really established the Mega Man franchise. The game also gave us some new robot masters. Needle Man is one of the Robot Masters that made his debut in Mega Man 3. Since this game Needle Man has gone on to appear in other Mega Man games.

Background- After the events of Mega Man 2 Dr Wily seemed to have turned good. Him and Dr. Light had built 8 new robot masters. However, unknown to Light Wily had already reprogrammed the robots to do his bidding when he told them too. Needle Man was one of 8 new robot masters.

He was created to work in Mines. His needle cannon was supposed to be able to break loose minerals. The large needles on top of his head was meant to smash rocks for minerals. He was designed after Air Man as both have the same body type, but he was also designed by using Metal Man as a template.

After Dr. Wily reveals his true intentions Needle Man starts to wreck havoc on a construction site near a mine. He goes on rampages to protect the site from intruders. This is because he is working for wily and wily needs some of the minerals.

Eventually Mega Man goes to his site/base and makes his way through it. Mega Man confronts Needle Man and he puts up a good fight. In the end Needle Man was defeated by Mega Man. This not only blocked Wily from access to the mines, but it also ended Needle Man's rampage.

Appearance- Needle Man is based off of Air Man design. Instead of having a human like face his face is built into his torso. Also like Air Man he is blue and white in most games. Some games he is blue and silver. He has cannons on his hands that he can fire his needle cannon. He also has a circular thing with spikes on top of his head.

Personality- He is intelligent and highly respected among his pears. He is also a capable fighter and is known for his combat skills. However, he can be a smart elec which can get him in trouble. He loves using his needles as a weapon. Ironically, he is afraid of shots. Thus, it is speculated he does not care about getting annual check ups.

Attack- Needle Man has quick attacks. He dares his opponents get close to him so he can use the spikes on his head. The Spikes on his head extend. He can fire his needle cannon in rapid order. In some games he can use the top of his head to stick to the wall or ceiling. It is best not to try to attack him in close range.

Weaknesses- His main weakness is the Gemini Laser. The Laser can bounce off the wall several times hitting him multiple times.The laser can also go through his very thick armor. In other games it is shown that Top Spin is also a weakness but it is hard to him him with it as it requires the player to get close. Needle Man does not like it when his opponents keep their distance because he can use some of his weapons that are designed for close combat.

If the player defeats him they will get his Needle Cannon Weapon. The weapon can allow the player to fire several needles at once without wasting any ammo.

Bad Point- He can be a smarty at times which can get him in trouble.

Likes- Sewing anything to do with needles.

Dislikes- Shots

Ironically despite his name and weapons he does not like shots. That is likely why he does not care to get check ups on a year basis.

Overall, Needle Man is just like the other robot masters from Mega Man 3 each one is unique. He is similar to Air Man in design this is likely due to Air Man being a basis for him. His weapon also behaves like Metal Cutter from the previous game or even shadow blade from this game.

Like other robot masters he was originally designed to help people and be a contributor to society. That all changed when Wily took him to use for his own bidding. IN the other games he is featured in he is still working for For Wily That concludes my biography.
