Mega Man 3 gave us some unique robot masters. Spark Man is one of those robot masters. Spark Man made his debut in Mega Man 3. He has since appeared in other games. So today, lets learn about Spark Man, Mega Man 3's electric robot master.

Background- After the events of Mega Man 2 Dr Wily seemed to have come to his senses and re-joined his former colleague Dr. Light. They made 8 new robot masters together. However, Dr. Wily coming to his senses was a ruse. Dr. Wily had intended to use the 8 new robot masters in his latest scheme. Dr. Wily had secretly reprogrammed the 8 new robot masters to do his bidding.

Spark Man was originally made to help charge equipment that ran on electricity. He also was made to provide electric power during power outages. He has the ability to produce very high amounts of electricity. Therefore, he is similar to Elec Man as they were made for the same purpose. Spark Man can also generate balls of electricity and uses the spark shock as his main weapon.

Dr. Wily took Spark Man in his latest scheme to take over the world. He took over a power plant and made a base out of it. Instead of providing power to the power plants the one he took over he was holding it hostage for Wily. Most likely threatening to shut off the power supply. Spark Man due to being under the control of wily became violent.

Eventually Mega Man made his way through his base. He challenged Mega Man and puts up a good fight. However, Mega Man is able to defeat him. Since his debut in Mega Man 3 he has appeared in other games.

Appearance- He resembles a spark plug. His armor varies depending on the game. But in most games he appears to have coral like armor sometimes he may even have orange armor or even red. He has prongs as his hands this is so he can generate large amounts of electricity. He is slightly taller than Mega Man.

Personality- Spark Man is friendly toward his colleagues and has been shown to charge them up to help them in battle. He also cares about his workers. He is also shown to be very social and loyal. However, he can loose focus easy and is easily distracted. Moreover, he gets depressed when left alone as he is a social robot. He gets mad when somebody is trying to hurt his workers or when Wily tells him too to provide power for Dr. Wily.

Attack- Spark Man loves to jump around in his room and corner his opponents. After he corners his opponents he loves to shock them. HE can also generate spark balls that can temporarily stun his opponent. His most dangerous attack though is when he fires his huge Electric Spark. His huge Electric Spark Ball can do massive damage. In other games it can even hit walls and split into multiple directions.

Weaknesses- He is weak to Shadow Blade. Shadow Blade cuts his armor and it keeps him from using his electrical attacks. He can also be easily distracted which he can sometimes loose focus in battles which can allow others to get hits in.

If the player defeats him they will get the spark Shock Weapon. Spark Shock can not only shock enemies but it can also stun them.

Good Point- he is friendly toward his colleagues

Weak Point- forgetful due to easily be distracted

Likes- Electric Ells cause they produce electricity

Dislikes- being alone

While it is not mentioned him being an electric robot master he most likely does not like rubber products. Since he is compared to Elec Man it would see that Elec Man may have been the template for Spark Man.

Spark Man is one of the more friendly robot masters as stated by his CD. Despite being friendly he can still go on rampages this is mainly due to Dr. Wily wanting him to provide power to his robots and machinery.

Spark Man, Gemini Man, and Shadow Man are some of my favorites from Mega Man 3. These same 3 also appear in future games. These 3 also appear in future games, so it is likely they are Wily's favorites or they are just popular. Anyway, this concludes the Spark Man Biography.
