Element Robot Masters have been a staple of the Mega Man and even Mega Man X franchises. The most common element themed robot masters are in no particular order, electric, fire, ice, and even water. Fire Man made his debut in Mega Man one the very first Mega Man game. Indeed, this would make him one of the first fire themed robot masters. Anyway, lets learn about Fire Man.

Background- Fire Man was created by Dr. Light and Dr. Wily. He was created to be versatile. His main job was to clear waste to prevent waste buildup in the landfills. He was also created to clear fields that had gotten accumulated with too much foliage. He was equipped with the fire storm weapon. His weapon could provide offense and defense. However, it gave him the ability to clear lots of things at one time. Thus, he was efficent at his job. He also seemed to be a believer in Justice.

However, when Dr. Wily turned evil he took Fireman with him. He reprogrammed Fireman to be evil and do his bidding. Fire Man still maintained his sense of Justice, except he believed Wily was doing good and Light/Mega Man was doing bad. He then started to use his fire weapons to start fires for Dr. Wily.

Eventually, Mega Man and in some games Proto Man encountered him. They tried to reason with him that Wily was evil, but being hot headed he was having none of that. The two heroes, depending on the game defeated him in battle ending his rampage. He has since appeared in other video games.

Physical Description- He is a medium sized robot master. His helmet is like a middle aged knight. His helmet can produce a torch flame, so he is often seen with fire coming out of his helmet. He has duel cannons that he can shoot his weapon fire storm. In most games he is shown to have silver and red armor.

Personality- Fire Man before being reprogrammed by Wily had a temper. He was a no-nonsense robot master. He took his roles and jobs very seriously. He also had a strong sense of justice believing that he was a super hero. After being turned evil by Wily. Fireman became insane as he believed that Wily's actions were good and that those who opposed Wily were evil doers that needed to be punished. It is revealed that he also likes the outdoors and enjoys camping and hiking.

Attacks- Fire Man has one the more powerful weapons in Mega Man One along with Elec Man's Thunder Beam. His fire storm can surround him with flames before firing out in multiple directions. This allows him to hit multiple targets at once. He can also heat up his flames. He can also shoot his fire storm in a rapid pace making him dangerous. It should be noted his flames take a while before they dissipate so he can get extra hits in after he has already used his attacks.

Weaknesses- He is weak to Ice Slasher because really it is just frozen water. He is also weak to Water based weapons as they put out his flames. His pattern can be tricky but it can also be simple. He only attacks when fired upon. He can be locked into a pattern were he can walk back and forth this leaves him open to some attacks. It should be noted while it is easy to lock him into a pattern it is also easy to loose the pattern. Moreover, due to being heavy he is shown to not be a good jumper.

Height- He is taller than Mega Man so he is likely at least 5'1 that would make him about 155 cm.

Weight- Probably high as he cannot jump that high.

Good Point- He is hot blooded and passionate. He really takes what he does seriously.

Bad Point- His Temper he can loose his temper very easily.

Likes- Camping and Hiking.

Dislikes- Water and Rain as they put out his flames.

Fire Man was the first fire robot master. He could also be considered the first shield weapon robot master since fire storm surrounds him for a few seconds before firing in multiple directions. As I stated he has appeared in other games.

Him having a strong since of Justice before being turned evil by Wily could be why Proto Man and Mega Man tried to reason with him before fighting him. It could also be a sign that they respected him before being turned evil. Fire Man's temper got the best of him and he instead challenged the two heroes getting defeated in the process.
