What are some options for a good cheap computer that's strong enough to play most Steam games? Or even a gaming laptop that's good. The first laptop I had couldn't even play games like Rust or Subnautica with crashing and the MacBook I've had for five years can only play games that work on Mac to begin with and are small games. I think it's time to get something that can play more Steam games but don't want to spend too much if it's going to be just for games.

Do you want a pre-built computer or are you open to building your own? I'd recommend building your own honestly. It will save you some money and you can choose to spend more money on the things that are important to you and less money on the things that aren't as important. You can also replace/upgrade individual parts when necessary instead of having to buy an whole new computer when it gets old. I built my own computer in 2020 with no prior experience. I just followed a YouTube video and the manual from my motherboard. It was pretty straightforward.

Also, what is "cheap" to you?
