So, what do you guys think of the Cybertruck?

I like the Cyber-Truck because it's sharp and very strong, also that it's Electric.

But there are some good things, and bad things, so I'll list the pros and cons.

Pros:

  1. Durable Design It is made with ultra-hard 30X cold-rolled stainless steel, which is pretty cool.
  2. Crazy Towing Capacity The Cybertruck can tow around 14,000 lbs, and that is insane.
  3. Electric Performance Since it's an electric vehicle, the Cybertruck has instant acceleration, (0-60 mph time of as little as 2.9 seconds) (for the tri-motor version).
  4. Range: The Cybertruck can travel about 500 miles. (for the tri-motor version).

And the cons are

  1. Battery: Since the Cybertruck is an electric vehicle, it takes around 30-40 minutes.

I don't really care. People have strong opinions about it because they have strong opinions about Elon Musk and his political affiliations. I don't care about, nor do I care about its performance or unusual design. I will never purchase one because A) it's too expensive and B) gasoline vehicles are much more convenient than electric vehicles.

It's the ugliest piece of metal I've ever had the displeasure of looking at. I seriously don't get why people will fork over hundreds of thousands of dollars on something as hideous as that thing. Even if I had the money for something like that, I would never in a million years consider buying one.

I've only seen a handful of them on the road, but whenever I see one, my initial thought echoes what gamer said in his post. It has such an ugly, angular, brutalist design that tries way too hard to look futuristic. I saw a an all chrome Cybertruck sometime last month and actually had to take my sunglasses off and wipe my eyes because it was so damn bright, lol. It's already painful enough to look at the regular finish, but the chrome definitely dials up the ugliness factor to 11.

I dunno, even though I have no interest in purchasing an electric vehicle anytime soon, I think there are much better looking options on the market that don't cost as much as the hideous Cybertruck.

I don't really care much, but whenever I see one out in the wild I always wonder what would make someone buy it. The design is the only thing that bothers me because it's literally something you'd expect out of Blade Runner.
