well, I'll be honest.... I don't know what the difference between those are. So, a little more information about the 2 would help.

I would say do whichever is easiest on you and your situation.... but without knowing the difference between the 2 choices it's hard to really offer more advice than that.

a General Education Degree (GED) isn't as good as a High School Diploma, your guaranteed a crappier job than a High School Diploma (I graduated and got one WOOHOO, so I should know) but yeah. Go for the HS diploma!

P.S. just so you know, if you cant decide how you should get a diploma, the LAST thing you wanna do is drop out!!! Lmao

Well you really have to weight your options.

I'm a little unfamiliar to both, but you have to tell us what you're thinking, what the pros and cons are for you. For example:

Do most people get the HSD?
What do you want to do after school, and will this make a difference in your choice?
What are the differences in difficulty?

In my mind, you should get a High School Diploma.
Because it's better than GED, and in our days it's better to have greater education than the others. It will make you more competitive against the others, when you ask for a job.
This is the reallity in my country.
Good Luck

Get a GED, it costs like $60 and takes only 1 day to complete. People who say a HS diploma is better obviously think that they are guaranteed instant success after graduation... WRONG!

If you want a good job you need dedication and the ability to take risks, or you can follow the HS system and believe in false hopes. People hiring you could careless about a GED or HS Diploma, only some colleges care for which one you got. Real jobs look at your college education not HS education so it doesn't matter.

It's only a superstition that getting a GED will make your life instant crap and get you a crappier job.

If you are planning on pursuing some type of career or attending a university, then I *highly* recommend getting a high school diploma. It would be worlds harder if you only got a GED. That's how it is here in the United States, at least.

I would suggest doing your best to hang in there. High school can be brutal - believe me, I know - but close friends, family, and supportive faculty can really help.

it depends on how many high school credits you have.
like for me for example. i only had like 40 high school credits and it wouldve tookin me like 1 1/2 - 2 years to get my HS diploma. so i decided to just get my ged.
its pretty easy as long as you payed attention even just alil bit.
plus you can always still get your hs diploma after youve gotten your ged. and in california i think they give you like 15 hs credits for taking the ged.
