Isoc is a character that first and so far has only appeared in Mega Man X6. He is kind of a mystery character or is he? It is possible Isoc is a cyborg of Dr. Wily. I will be exploring that in a bit. Anyway, lets learn about this mysterious character from Mega Man X6.

After the events of Mega Man X5. Reploids are tasked in cleaning up the earth. Gate a reploid scientists leads a team of reploids. However, Gate after touching pieces of Zero (Zero did not die ) or Sigma in the Japanese version becomes infected with the Sigma Virus. He becomes insane and creates the nightmare he also becomes a pawn of Sigma later on. Isoc joined Gate and became his spoke person and right hand person. How Isoc met Gate is a mystery. There are two theories. The first theory is he was Gate's assistant and was already part of Gates team. Another theory is he Joined Gate's team and became his person since Gate was trying to find the real Zero. Regardless he joined Gate's team and was labeled a maverick.

After X seems to not be able to defeat him in Gate's masterpiece High Max. He gives a speech to the reploids asking them to join the 8 nightmare investigators and work for Gate. In reality Gate is creating the nightmare and this is a plot to rule the world. But, it is later revealed that Sigma is using Gate to spread the Sigma virus and infect new reploids.

More of Isoc's background is revealed later in the game. In what is cannon Zero is found to be alive and joins X in putting an end to the madness. Isco informs gate about Zero's return. Gate tells Isoc to stop focusing on Zero. Isoc states I know Zero inside and out he is powerful and nearly unstoppable. Later after X and Zero destroy High Max. Isoc tells Zero that his the strongest reploid ever before shutting down and dying. This leads to another theory.

While it has not been confirmed by Capcom it is hinted that Isoc could be a cyborg or reploid verson of Dr. Wily. He states he knows Zero inside and out. Dr. Wily was the one who created Zero and also the Sigma Virus. Only Wily would know about the inside of Zero. He also can analyze Zero again only Dr. Wily could do that in the correct way. In addition, Isoc resembles Dr. Wily in terms of hair and his facial hair. Therefore, Isoc could likely be a reploid verson of Dr. Wily. Just like how Serges from X2 was confirmed to be a reploid verson of Wily. Interestingly, after Sigma is defeated X, Zero and the rest of the Hunters go to retrieve the rest of the bodies, but they never find Isoc's its like he vanished.

Appearance-He appears to be an elderly reploid with his white/gray hair and facial hair. He has red eyes and his armor appears to be white, brown and black. Moreover, he wears a lab coat similar to Gate. When he has his lab coat on it makes it looks like he has white and gray armor. Moreover, he appears to be tall.

Personality- Isoc is a calm reploid. He only appears to get frustrated after the 8 maverics or destroyed. He also gets frustrated when High Max is destroyed for good. He seems to be a master analysis. He is also very loyal as he is loyal to Gate even when Gate becomes a maverick after getting infected with the Sigma Virus. However, he can be a bit obsessive as he was constantly analyzing Zero. Even to tell Gate all about Zero and his abilities. This eventually caused Gate to tell him to stop focusing on Zero and focus on spreading the nightmare.

Abilities- Isoc is a great public speaker and is effective at spreading propaganda. He was able to way reploids to come work for Gate. As I stated this was a trap to infect reploids with the Sigma Virus. He also is a master manipulator the way he manipulates reploids into thinking they will be safe while working for the 8 mavericks. Furthermore, he is highly intelligent and is able to research and analyze just about anything. He is also able to help create mavericks. As him and Gate created High Max.

He can also stun attackers with electricity. He uses this on X and Zero. The stunning is temporarily and this just allows Isoc to escape before being encountered again by Zero as Isoc shuts down. Thus, his attacks are likely defense as he is not really combat themed. His greatest asset is his mind. Even though he is a maverick he does not appear to be insane.

Mega Man X6 remains Isoc's only appearance. As I stated in post game scenes X, Zero, Alia, Douglass, and General Signas are seen recovering the bodies of Gate, and the 8 Mavericks. However, they never find Isoc's. This is very similar to Serges in Mega Man X2. Again, this adds to the theory that Isoc was really Dr. Wily. No matter his background Isoc is a mysterious character. His main purpose in X6 is to analyze Zero, spread propaganda, assist gate, and manipulate reploids into joining the investigation when actualy it is to infect them. This concludes the Isoc biography.
