With pc hardware evolving every year we should forget the years of previous generations of hardware that set the framework for what we have now.

How interested are you when it comes to retro hardware? Do you collect, do you wish to collect, or are just interested in the history of past hardware and what they capable of achieving back then?

I have watched many YouTube videos regarding retro pc hardware. Especially from the 90s to early 2000s. Remember the intel Pentium 4 and AMD Athlon 64. I actually liked how they're tested to see how much they work with current day usage. I also been interested in buying old laptops and pcs myself to try to daily drive them myself.

I do not collect retro hardware. Now with that being said I do like vintage things. I am fascinated with how things worked back in the good old days. I'm old enough to remember when you had to have floppy disks. Yeah those were the days. Looking back at it now. I'm fascinated with what floppy disks and old computers were able to achieve. When I was in elementary school it was amazing to put the floppy disk in and be able to save your work. Me and my friends found that interesting.

It is also amazing to think about CD's. While CD's came out in the 1980's they were popular in the 1990's early 2000's. It was amazing that you could burn things to a CD, copy, and save your work. It was nice to hear the hum the disk spinning made.

Also in the 1990's new computer drives came out that made the computers more colorful. In elementary school I I was amazed at the colors. With the new chips it made the colors so amazing. Now those chips are even ancient.

So yeah, I'm fascinated and interested in vintage old hardware. I guess I'm fascinated because I lived through technical advances by decade.
