Nah PlayStation 1 controller is better than the ps2. Felt more natural and less issues with the wiring (more durable when the DualShock was introduced)

claytune : what are you talking about? Granted PlayStation 1 DualShock controller was a great controller and when the DualShock 2 came out… I felt like it wasn’t durable enough and wires be exposed at times. Then again I was a kid so yanking might’ve caused it but still felt a little cheap and light. Sega controllers aren’t that great either with so many kinds that were flops. The Dreamcast was especially weird and cheaply felt compared to the Saturn or even the Genesis. Those felt great but with the genesis buttons do get stuck at times when I was growing up. Maybe it’s a bad luck with controllers but I would never try to persuade people to vote against other controllers, except the Dreamcast or Switch with its stick drift issues.

becerra95 : Fair enough though I'm quite curious what you said about the dreamcast controller since I've never seen one in person and I remember back when the switch drift was at the height of it being an issue seeing several people say how they didn't know why they didn't just copy the control stick from the dreamcast cause supposedly it's impossible for the dreamcast to get stick drift. Guessing the posts I saw back then didn't know what they were talking about lol.

claytune: they used magnets to the sticks which helped prevent stick drift that I can give props to because that’s pretty innovative and I’m gonna assume it’s expensive to make, thus sacrificing the feel of the controller for performance? Like if you ever felt the Dreamcast controller you’ll see how weird and awkward the feel and handling is, especially the buttons.
