Boomer Kuwanger is a reploid, robots who share a lot of human features such as DNA and the ability to make decisions for themselves, from Mega Man X1. He was a Maverick Hunter later turned Maverick. He also has a sibling. Lets learn about him.

Boomer Kuwanger is a tall maverick that is based off of a stag beetle. He was created from the same DNA as Gravity Beetle. This makes Boomer and Gravity Beetle brothers. Both brothers were built by Cain Labs. Both brothers served in the 17th elite unit in the Maverick Hunters. Moreover, both brothers were officers in that division. General Sigma, who was a maverick hunter at this time, was impressed with them both.

Kuwanger can best be described, when he was a good guy, as a lawman type maverick hunter. He worked in urban settings protecting urban areas from dangerous mavericks. His tall and lanky frame allowed him to fit in tight urban spaces. He was always looking for action. When there was no action he could become very board. He also had a do not care attitude. When Sigma revolted he joined Sigma and became one of his officers. Unlike some of the other maverick hunters turned maverick. Boomer joined because he thought it would be interesting. He did not care about the destruction his actions would cause. His brother Gravity Beetle also joined and became an officer in Sigma's Army too.

Now as a maverick Boomer took over a city tower and released his sharp cutting boomerangs at residents below. Since he could briefly turn invisible Sigma often used him to assassinate those that did not join his rebellion especially in urban settings. He also rigged his tower with several booby traps as he knew X or Zero would come for him. Eventually X or Zero, depending on the game, made their way up to his tower eventually destroying him.

After Boomer was killed for being a Maverick. His Brother Gravity swore revenge and went into hiding. Gravity Beetle was forgotten about until the events of Mega Man X3. He joined Doppler's army to get revenge for his brother. He would end up being destroyed by X and Zero in similar faction.

Personality Wise- Boomer has a do not care attitude. He did not care about his job protecting humans and reploids. He also does not care about Sigma revolting He joined Sigma as I stated because he thought it would be fun. When he became a maverick he did not care about the violence, and destruction his actions caused. Although, he did care about his brother. On the other hand, Boomer could see potential in X he even makes reference to this saying X and Zero are very powerful and have not reached their potential.

Attacks-Boomer has powerful attacks. His main attack is his boomerang cutter. Boomer will fire sharp boomerangs that can cut through just about anything. He also can briefly turn invisible this allows him to sneak up on opponents. His other powerful attack is grabbing his opponent with his horns and throwing them up into the ceiling to do extra damage. His other strengths are his speed and being agile. Despite being tall he is one of the lighter mavericks. This helps him concerning speed and he can fit through narrow places.

Weaknesses- He is weak to the homing torpedo. The homing torpedo keeps him from using his invisible attack. It also keeps him grounded from doing his other attacks.
