Flame Mammoth is a reploid, robots who have DNA and can make their own decisions, who is based off of the extinct Woolly Mammoth. He is also a fire based boss. So lets learn about this maverick.

Flame Mammoth is a very large reploid and later maverick, reploids who have revolted or malfunctioned and poss a danger to the world. He was built by Cain Labs to provide oil and fire to the world. Due to his size he was quickly assigned to the Maverick Hunters. He was put in charge of the 4th land unit. Originally, he was a good guy. He protected the world's energy sources several times from dangers. Moreover, he thought against mavericks several times in the Middle East region of the world. He also though in Asia around Pakistan and India as well.

Despite originally being a good and successful hunter he quickly went maverick. Mammoth liked to use his large size and the ability to use fire in battle. Even when he was a Maverick Hunter he used his large size to cause more destruction. In addition, he would use his fire ability to burn things he should not have in battle. He often went to far in his missions but due to his success in battle it was often overlooked. Mammoth though had a major flaw in his programming. The flaw in his programming could cause him to go on rampages at times. This is why sometimes he went too far in his missions. It is also implied it made him insane. There are a few theories on how his programming got his flaw. One theory is his circuits malfunctioned and this caused him to loose his mind. Another Theory is Sigma had already infected him with his Sigma Virus. As Sigma had already begun infecting his chosen ones before he launched his revolt.

Regardless, when Sigma went Maverick Mammoth quickly followed him. Sigma liked Mammoth due to his rampages, and his attacks. Sigma was able to manipulate him by telling him there was no longer any law. Previously Maverick Hunters had rules they had to follow in Battle, which Mammoth hated. Sigma quickly made Mammoth a high ranking officer in his army. As a Maverick Mammoth quickly took over the oil and energy supplies. He also took over factories that made weapons. He was able to hold the world's oil and thermal energy hostage. He also oversaw the mass production of weapons. Due to his flaw in his programming he would often destroy oil fields for his own amusement. Eventually X and Zero encountered him and ended his reign of terror by destroying him.

Personality Wise- Mammoth loves violence and destruction. He loves anarchy and no rules. This is due to his insanity and his flawed programming. It is also due to him being a maverick. Mammoth had always been cocky. He can come across as a bully to those underneath him. He also looks down on others who he thinks are small. He did not get along with Chill Penguin. This is because Penguin stood up to him against his bullying. He loves to use his large size to cause even more destruction. He can be full of himself as he thinks very few are a match for him. However, he also can recognize potential in others. He recognized that X would become a powerful force as he had unlimited power. He even tells X this. He also recognizes that Zero is very powerful.

Attacks- As I referenced Mammoth loves to use his weight in battle. He is able to create small but powerful quakes by jumping. He will also try to smash the player or whoever he is fighting against. He can also create oil this is to spread tar on objects before he uses his main attack. The oil makes his main attack more destructive. His main attack is his flame. Mammoth will shoot fireballs to burn those he is fighting against. He will ignite whatever he has oiled. This creates a bigger flame. In fact, this is how he would burn oil fields and cause more destruction in battle. His fire weapon has a good burn radius creating more fires. When he is fought he can change the track of the conveyor belts in the factory he made his base.

Weaknesses- Mammoth's main weakness is the storm weapon. While wind can cause fire to spread it can also work against it. In this case the storm weapon blows his flames out. It also shreds his tough armor. Despite Mammoth's large size it can work against him. The player can slide under him when he jumps thus avoiding his crushing attacks. Mammoth's main weakness though is due to being very bulky he is not very fast. While he has a lot of power in his attacks. He is not as mobile and thus not as fast as the other mavericks. This allows the player to dodge him and attack him. Another weakness is he can underestimate opponents. For example he underestimated Chill Penguin being able to stand up to him. Though he recognized the power in X and Zero. He still thought he could defeat them for Sigma.

Height 320 or 321 centimeters depending on the game. This makes him 10'5 feet tall.

Weight- He is one of the heavier Mavericks as he is 327 kilograms or 720 pounds

Attack Methods- Crushing, oiling, and shooting fireballs. Also creating infernos.

It's crazy that Flame Mammoth, was once a helpful reploid, but then turned Maverick from a problem in his programming, and that His love for chaos and destruction got him to join Sigma's revolt. Mega Man X is a cool game.

Also cool that Mammoth's large size and fire abilities made him a powerful but reckless adversary. I think he could be really good to play as, although he is a boss, his storm based attacks are pretty cool though.

I'm surprised that he is 10'5 feet and weighing 720 pounds.

Dauntez: He does not have a storm based attack. The storm weapon is his weakness. Yeah it would be fun if you could play as him and some of the other characters. Maybe down the road somebody will make a hack were you can do just that. I agree X is a cool game and was a nice new Mega Man Series.
