My thought on Final Fantasy VII Remake was; it was almost the best game, but Zack Fair was not in the game; soo that is why Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core Reunion it far better. Also, there is a argument going on, "Who should Aerith dating? Zack Fair, or Cloud Strife?" Now, you guys are gonna help me figure out.

Who deserves Aerith? I think Zack, but other people think Cloud. Also, has anyone been confused about Tifa and Barret? They both own a bar, and how does Barret have a kid?

Also, is this game not the best Final Fantasy or what? It lost in "Final Fantasy ELLIMINATION" it was for sure going to win.

Dauntez : FIrst of all did you ever play the original final fantasy 7?

If not try not to read any further... i'll likely be spoiling a few things from the base game..; even though its like 26 years old at this point.

Canonically, by the time cloud is conscious in FF7, Zach is no longer alive. FF7 remake makes that more ambigious due to its ending scenes but god knows what will happen yet.

Heck the earliest you find out about zack in FF7 is pretty late into the game when tifa goes into clouds memories after he falls in the lifestream in mideel. which might be late disc 2 or early disc 3 on the original.. (i don't remember)

It's also unclear as to who "deserves" Aerith, heck biggs is still alive and he wasn't in FF7 so it's super unclear what dialogue and storytelling they'll create.. or let's be honest if the 3 of them will ever be in the same scene as each other.

Also Barret doesn't have a kid, Marlene isn't his or tifa's, her dad is someone called Dyne who is very plot relevant to Barret's backstory and likely will show up at some point in rebirth. It also talks about the reason he hates shinra so much also.

If we're talking ship preferences... the best relationship is clearly

I should have made clear, how did Barret ever pull of getting that kid to trust him? Like, Barret is a Brute from halo, nobody is going to not be scared of you, you literally put a freaking turret on your arm.

I know about the whole Barret thing, so, yeah.

Oh yeah, biggs, well, Aerith did something to revive him somehow. Wedge Cheated death a few times, like you think he dies, and all of a sudden, you see the whispers trying to kill him.
