A few days ago on social media one of my friends posted name the hardest video game on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) I responded with Battletoads. Yesterday, I did a bio on Robo-Manus one of the top villains of the Battletoads series. Today I decided to do a bio on the Dark Queen the main villain in the Battletoads franchise.

Not much is known about the Dark Queen's History or her life before she came to power. However, there is a common theory concerning her origins. In the game Shovel Knight the Battle Toads can be unlocked. While unlocking the Battle Toads. It is highly referenced that the main villain in Shovel Knight the Enchantress is a young Dark Queen. In other language translations the Toads tell Shovel Knight the Enchantress is the Dark Queen. Shovel Knight even calls her the Dark Queen. However, other languages do not reference this.

Given that the toads appeared in shovel Knight and the Enchantress uses dark power. It is likely the Enchantress is a young Dark Queen. It makes sense when you think about it. In Shovel Knight the Enchantress is consumed by dark energy or power. After you defeat the Enchantress in Shovel Knight and liberate shield knight (the enchantress had possessed shield knight) she states she will be back. The Enchantress also fights similar to the dark queen. Therefore, I believe the Enchantress really is a young Dark Queen.

She is the brother to Silas Volkmire. She often teams up with her younger brother and uses him in her schemes. Silas is handy with technology so she often uses him to train her army with technology.

The Dark Queen's powers would increase she would become a feared conquer of the galaxy. She does not want to rule the space galaxy but the entire universe as well. She will do anything to achieve her goal. She commands a powerful mutant army of pigs, rats, and other soldiers. She is also able to create her soldiers with dark magic. Robo-Manus, Big Blag, Admiral Oink, and General Slaughter are her top generals and command her armies.

Due to her power, evil ways, and mutant army she is very feared in space. She has taken over planets, tried to take over the world. However, she has been foiled every time by the Battletoads.

She rules her army and those she conquers with an iron fist. She does not put up with resistance or rebellion. for planets that have resisted she has kidnapped a high member of that planets citizens to hold them for ransome. She even was going to fire a nuke at a planet for resisting. Even though she prefers her generals and army to do her bidding. She is not afraid to take on roles herself. She has proven she is a dangerous fighter and very formidable opponent.

Her main attacks are her devastating kicks. One of her kick attacks is enough to do serious damage to her opponents. She also can turn into a tornado and do even more damage. In future games she was shown to turn into a fireball to burn her opponents. She can also increase her size from being average height to being three to four times the size of her opponents. She can also fire projectiles from her staff that she carries.

Personality wise she is a cold hearted individual. She will stop at nothing to gain power or increase her rule. As I mentioned she has kidnapped high profile individuals for ransome, fired a nuke at a resisting planet (it was disarmed by the toads). Another thing she has done if she believes somebody could lead an army to resist her and join the toads she will target them. She basically wants power and more power.

Overall, the Dark Queen is an evil person that will stop at nothing to get what she wants. Her schemes have been foiled each time by the Battletoads. Due to being foiled by the Toads she resists them for it. In later games she states that she just wants to get even with the toads for causing her so much trouble.
