Link vs. Zelda (Who should really be the main character?)

she could get her own series. maybe the legend of link it would be cool either way. i think they should start putting in a character select honestly. maybe make it into a two player game or something.

Link is the main character because he is just awesome. He holds the Master Sword, so he gets to have his name on the Games, not Zelda. The Legend of Link, yah that's better, but legend Of Zelda has more of a clink, and The Legend OF Link sounds more weirder.

Or they should name it The Legend Of Hyrule. That title adds more interest to the games. Anyway, Link should still be the the main character because he turns into a wolf. If Zelda turns into a bear, then I would give her more support, but Link is the best.

I'm going with Link for this one. For one, Link is awesome and wields a swords (And swords are awesome), and can pull off some kick ass moves. I have played Zelda games using Link, and I can pretty much say that I've gotten used to him. It's just that he's an easy character to use, and has proven to be useful.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to play as Zelda, but having her as the main character just wouldn't be as fun as the usual 'slash using the sword' gameplay that we have adopted to with Link, so I'm going with him.

Putting Zelda in her own game would crash the entire series into a brick wall. Link has been the main playable character since the game's release in 1986. Sure, Zelda was a playable character once in Spirit Tracks, but she was along side Link in that one.

The only other girl I can think of that main lines a lot of games is Laura croft with her tomb raider games. (Strange thing is I never played her games other then a demo disk yet my sis lovers them.) oh ya i almost forgot i pick link cause i played the ds game and the final boss made me grow an huge dis-like for zelda after i had to play her song over and over for about an hour.
