Fate.....Bad Happenstance....Hypocrisy....Criminally Framed Perhaps? Am sure you'll all encountered, dealt with, or have seen/read such matters unfolding before you. Some you've gritted your teeth against and walked past; yet, some you remember and have probably chosen to kept said emotions from the events festered away. Unable to honestly forget about it and merely wishing there was more you could've done in said circumstance...still sticking with you like a bitter pill left unconsumed. Life can be full of many elements and factors of play, each dice roll remaining a mere matter of chance though willing to be tampered by some. Will you trust and heed the cards laid bare in front of you? Or....Shall you confront the misdeeds and truth you wish to pursue head-on? Releasing those locks upon your heart and mind....the...fear one might say? The contract shall be sealed upon said inclination. Are you ready....to confront your story and life?

(Sniper) : Alright, things are proceeding well Hedge. You've only got a little further till you can exit the Toss O' Viz area.
(Gale) : Just keep their attention away on your end, we'll make sure we all get out alongside the treasure safely!
(Hedge) : *continues running past hallways and reaches large gap in pathway*
(Sleuth) : What's wrong, Hedge? Have you been spotted?!
(Wolf) : No. It's not that. Sorry but it's the only way, you'll just have to jump for it. Think you can make it?
(Hedge) : *takes a running dash forward while smirking, jumping across grasp starting back at Shadows* Good-Bye, Shadows!
(Sniper) : Hmph...Never took you to be such a show-off. How interesting.
(Hedge) : *shields eyes as spotlights shine directly upon him* Huh..... Nnnhhhghh!! *gets baton smashed across back of
skull*
(Security Guard ~ Ruin): *see's the prisoner Hedge briefly regaining consciousness* Hey pal! You've got a visitor, hurry up and make it quick will you.
(Oyenekan-San) : Well Well.....So you're the troublemaker everyone's been talking about? ....Not like it matters that much anyway. You and I both know we won't have that much time in here for idle chit-chat. I've been asked to oversee this case and request your cooperation with said task. Nothing more, Nothing Less. So why don't you try and clear your mind as best as you can, save us both energy and time, and start this review by telling me everything you know and how it went down?
(Hedge) : *Nods and contemplates at chained desk, As Blue butterfly flies past desk in thought*

___----___-----A drastic visual upgrade, maintaining its simple roots and drawing in wandering eyesight's-----____---__

Understanding the large variety of perspectives and visual representations this series has chosen to undertake, is crucial to realizing and therefore adequately judging the graphical depictions before us. Going from a traditional 16-32bit RPG formats of the original duology of the PS1 system, (trilogy if count both Persona 2 releases separately) to the more advanced PS2 hardware and gameplay overhaul of the duology found within. The first of which to reach a almost completely 3rd person perspective, used primarily throughout said entry. To where we find ourselves at the current time, originally amongst the PS3 system and its own lineup of experiences to explore. Persona 5 being in my mind and eyes, the first to truly achieve an entirely capable and controllable 3rd person JRPG game, with much more powerful hardware and advancements behind the entry to boot. We've already been tossed into a heavily dialogue and cutscene based story, one in which we will discuss to a much grander degree later. So why don't we cut to the chase and stop draining our limited value of time, shall we?

-)(- Animated and Dialogue driven cutscenes-)(-

First things, First. Persona 5/Royal was obviously NOT the first game to have animated cutscenes and transitions during gameplay. Persona 4/Golden as well as Persona 3/FES made this leap several years prior, the only main and hard hitting difference between these 2 factors though all falls on the basis of one prime detail. The Quality, Detail, and Art Portrayal undertaken amongst the duology and newest entry at the time. This isn't to say that the PS2 library of Persona games becomes an unenjoyable viewing experience when going the rounds through the story. More so that the hardware was understandably more limited in scope and quality that could be represented at one time, akin to what one would expect from an early 90's anime in opposition to something like My Hero Academia or Demon Slayer of the Mid-Late 2010's. By said same token, Persona 5's entry to the PS3 system gave much more allowance and creative ability to design a very impressionable tone and atmosphere. Such as with the following examples below.

XxxX*Backgrounds and Scenery + Royal Additions*XxxX

Now keeping things in check, this game was released in 2016 and a single glance at any gameplay trailer or online video will tell and show you that it's far from the most "amazing and astonishing" looking game one could delve into on said platform. Games like Red Dead Redemption, God of War III, and Metal Gear Solid 4 easily surpassing it in graphical/cinematic department easily. Yet, some to most of said examples one could bring up are mostly being sold with said mindset being one of its highest factors. JRPG/RPG's in general normally delve more attention and focus into the gameplay elements and diversity over most technological advanced backdrops and models. One of the newer additions within the Royal edition of this game is the "Showtime" attacks, these will randomly become available during a battle encounter. Much like a All-Out-Attack these will do significant damage against said foes, though only 2 partners will be involved in said attacks not the entire party. Some of these cutscenes have a......unique style to them. Ranging from very flashy and stunning, to cinematic and humorous, to awkward and perplexing. But I don't want us losing track or time any more than we already have, let's get into the meat and bones of this case and discuss some of the environments you'll come across during this adventure.

[<>][<3][7][$$] Casino of Envy [$$][12][%][<>]

*Tuxedo-Clad Guests toss dice across table landing on snake eyes, laughter and jokes toss around* ....Huff...Huff... *Running across playing cards and across JACKPOT machines* Man as if things weren't difficult enough, now we've gotta deal with potter's gambit and other gambling natures just to proceed forward. Craps tables, slot machines, blackjack, and more. Encountering shadows and Casino Dealers all around the brightly shining decor, amongst the Rosewood Red and Onyx Black toned carpeting. If it weren't for the fact that we were all one a mission, at some points even gambling with our lives like a cage match, it could be an appealing atmosphere to absorb one's self into. Though very doubtful we'd return to said casino, seeing how jaded and unscrupulous nature the caretaker of this establishment has laid out for its patrons. Do you hear that, Royal Queen of the Table? I hope you've had your last few laughs and fun manipulating the golden scales into your favor, cause we're coming for ya chips in tow and are going to card deck you in the face!!

_)/(_ Museum of Vanity |__-=

Are still relatively fresh newbies at this, as we approach our next destination and target. Places of art and creation can be a very eye-opening experience for some. Opening up ones mind and inner spirits to the sights set before them, refreshing the mind and allowing creativity to flow within. Some may even gain aspirations to have the same manner of joy and encouragement shared with others, within the very same foundation that they first gleaned on. Desiring to create a portrait that'll strike emotion into the minds and hearts of millions whom may lay their eyes upon it if presented here. *Looks at shimmering portraits and golden embellished self-portrayed statues, while squinting eyes in a unsightly manner* I gotta tell you though......nothing here can make me feel anything but a distasteful and repulsive nature towards its inhabitor. It's obvious to see the only real element of value in this decrepit gallery in the owner's mind, is himself alone and the paintings surrounding him are nothing more than fodder used for financial gain and money. No matter whom's life my be behind each piece, or the consequences surrounding said acquisition and publication. *Stares up at blood splattered painting, depicting a young-middle aged individual* Tsk...Let's get out of here already and show this madman what real scenery and masterful sights are meant to look like and be treated as such. *Jumps into painting and heads for the foyer entrance*

|\____+ :'( Center of Melancholy :') +____//|

Well Well, Here we are at the newest palace introduction to this games long and eventful journey. Only found within the Royal version of the game, this scenery is definitely far different from anything else we've come across as well as the personality of the foes and mastermind encountered here. *Stares at neutral party member Raven* Not like we'll find out anything about what's really affecting our normal lives by just standing outside this clinic, so let's head in and discuss further about our intentions and methods on how to approach this heist. *Opens clinic door as are immediately greeted by receptionist and naive patients* This manifestation certainly seems to be the most composed and lifelike to what one would see in common reality, yet there seems to be an aura of misinformation or misguidance might be a better term in this scenario. Coming up to kiosks or panels with questions or directives which seemingly pose a situation for you to determine the best outcome in your eyes....and yet the "appropriate" response seems to be more like what you'd hear and expect from someone blaming, hiding, or abandoning a true means of progress for an escape which feels the most comfortable and suitable to them and their mindset for everyone. Clean and Tidied counseling rooms which a therapists houses, pleading you to approach true wisdom and insight. What the right path and ultimate fruition for everyone should and can be, even if may appear as a forceful implementation. Hmph....what a sham. Real therapy and the value found within comes from effort and learning to approach said situation constantly. Confronting it head on rather than merely looking away. What can be found in this Garden of Eden centric and idealistic area is nothing more than brainwashing. Enjoy the outcome you desire. But are you really willing to give up your free will and ability to choose your own path for something so trivial and contrived? C'mon....we've got lots of more work to do ahead.

*panning back out into interrogation room* Based on the information you've provided me with so far, it would seem that while the graphical quality of this story could be perceived as mediocre to average in comparison to its competitors on the platform. There are merits and a lot of thought put towards the backdrop as well as mental stimulation of curiosity or confrontation throughout. I don't know exactly how much I buy on your side of these events, practically sounds like what you'd hear from a child's fantasy game or animated cartoon. *sighs* Nevertheless it doesn't seem like you're being dishonest or uncooperative thus far. We'll leave things off here with an 8/10 for this case. *pushes envelope containing "Sound" victim* Now....You approached this segment shortly after the last one, within a few weeks in fact. Continue telling me what happened during this interaction, try not to leave anything out!

!!!::**Collection of harmonic filled vocals and instrumentation's, sure to satisfy any gamers listening lust**::!!!

.............What? You really need me to discuss this series music in that much detail? If you've been on Youtube or Gaming Boards am sure you've easily heard the praise given towards the previous entry and even more so towards Persona 3's musical epiphany that has struck thousands upon thousands of ears across the gaming hemisphere. But I guess for those unacknowledged to this series or new beginners into the genre of JRPG's, let's delve deep into the depths of mementos of explanations onto Persona 5 Royal's musical compositions and the emotions strewn about from it all. Looking back at the the previously praised 3 and 4 Persona's, each game typically has its own motif and style it likes to primarily stick to. 3's primarily being with Rap and varied implementations of Pop (some akin to J-Pop and Lo-Fi at times), while 4's OST traditionally stuck to J-Pop as well as upbeat Hip-Hop and EDM styles. Persona 5/Royal also has its own claim and preference for its atmosphere and musical selection. This time turning more towards relaxing Jazz, upbeat and strong Funk, as well as Rock at certain moments or areas, sometimes referred to as Acid Jazz when combined uniquely. Now that we've got that settled and planted into the forefront of your minds, let's delve into some examples of what to expect moving forward. *Rushes behind shadow and rips off mask*

;;;:::;;;""" Beneath the Mask ~Rain~"""::;;;:;;;

*walks around town carrying umbrella while in contemplation* If there's ever a song that's gonna resonate with you going through the daily motions, look or scroll no further past your monitors or smartphone screens. Generally this chill, soft, and relaxing melody will play during the evenings of your adventure. Having just comes back home after having chosen to partake in some form of activity, whether it be connecting and correspondence with your new friends or wanting to improve your personal skills with exercise and knowledge or even merely brewing some coffee for your following trip into the next stage of your plans with the Phantom Thieves. When you've had a long day fighting Shadows and assisting with requests from the Phan-Site, or in your actual persona life just want an escape from the daily grind and struggle. Grab some earbuds, a drink, and sit back taking it all in like the falling spring rain outside. Can even do the same whilst walking around outside with some tasks or meet-up you've planned on handling, letting the vocal chorus and soft-spoken instruments take your mind and worries away.Keeping your goals and spirit intact, yet allowing you a moment of peace to take everything in and not overload yourself. *Turns towards front door, staring at rainfall* Specially concerning the conditions placed under the following sessions below.

Welcome, Dear viewers. To the casting sails of the Vizzed Empire Ship, watch gracefully as we all set sail towards a brighter future and board for all of our citizens. What does it honestly mean to be a member of the Vizzed Community, if one does not consider the outcome of the site and its people is ludicrous! We must break a new path forward amongst the reign of tyranny the many wish to cast upon our wonderful system, that is why you should continue to support us as the high-end moderator of this board. If given this opportunity I will make sure that...... *Signal cuts out* Hmph....What else would I expect from a person in power like him. Nothing but typical BS as usual! Sad to see how many people can easily be misled by such a far gone and tainted individual like him, to think how many people he's involved and taken advantage of.....even gotten rid of to suit his own personal gains and means of advancement into our society and governing power. Hearing the orchestral melody and somewhat empowering yet also downplaying nature of this song, only get us more determined to take this rotten criminal and foe down a peg or three. Somewhat akin to a final hurrah you'd hear during a last stand/charge moment in a cinematic feature. Also at the same time reminding you that this is not something to be taken lightly or someone that shouldn't be handled without proper preparation and caution involved in every step of the way. *smirks and stares across the vastless ocean and bloodstained sky, while walking into dining halls* Ugh. Let's continue onwards and change this fiend's heart so we don't have to stare at this sickening display of egotistical self admiration.... Hm?! *jumps back as gunshot is fired their way* .....Oh great, it's you again..... old pal.

0010011[<3+] Gentle Madman + I Believe][--

We now take a glance into yet another exclusive detail within the Royal version of this entry into the Persona franchise. Playing in the additional palace found within the game's closing chapters, this theme has a mysterious and very personal feeling when taking a listen to its melodic charm and tones...as well as staring around a scientific-based institute building. Almost like what one would expect a utopia to be presented as, yet somehow maintaining what gives off a medicinal clinic vibe. With all the staff pondering over my mental well-being and questionnaires stating what should be the best alternative in the bigger picture of current predicaments. When confronting the king of said palace and learning more about the motivations or desires therein from said individual, you're left compelled at points on what honestly seems like the best way to approach this situation. Unlike previous owners manifesting their own world's view from something as trivial or crude as money, revenge, or greed. This one strangely falls into a different category.....misguidance. How they've treated those whom have come across their path in an empathetic and understanding manner, offering a place of comfort and aid with a desire to share said offering with everyone around Shibuya. Yet as the darkening tones of the piano and vocal hums of the background OST play, as much as you hate to it....you know deep down this "madman" had to be taken care of as their ideal vision of a free world isn't all that's it's cracked up to be. One that would surely collapse much like the mental states of those whom they've desired to help change in the past.

This is only amplified even further with the additional one-time theme played during this palace's final confrontation, with all friends and determination in tow! I Believe is basically the games final parade version of what the song "Life will Change" you've heard many times across this long journey has been trying to embody, just inject it with steroids containing 3x the amount of spirit and enthusiasm. Just wow....if there is any theme song to make you pumped up with anticipation and motivation to break past your limits and struggles laying ahead of you. This is that theme for Persona 5! Picture if you will for a minute the energy and chills you'd get from hearing Day of Fate or Super Saiyan 3's theme from DBZ, Number One from Bleach, or Minagoroshi No Jungle from Rurouni Kenshin. Amplify and inject that exact same tingle and excitement you feel from said examples, and combine it with the wonderfully crafted and emotional story you've been dragged and invested into so deeply by this point. There's only one thing you can say at this moment. I Believe there's no way we'll lose and let you get away with this! *Proudly marches towards the elevator to the top floor of the rehabilitation facility*

*Returning to Interrogation Room viewpoint* It seems that this case's soundtrack has certainly had its impact on you. Was that merely just from the deluded sense of justice you've paraded about with this whole "Metaverse" business? Maybe it might even have to do with the voice acting and discourse you and your other Phantom Thief associates have shared amongst everything that's happened thus far? Or is it merely that you just enjoy the sound of one's own voice and drown out all other thoughts? ---> /Of course not/ /What if that were true?/ /Not like you'd understand/ . That's what you say for now, you haven't shown many traits of a self-absorbed individual thus far. Even with how much you've managed to outmaneuver and challenge the police at times, not exactly what you'd call a self-centered mind in my books. Still.......that could easily change as the cases continue to pile up! Based on your enthusiasm and praise thus far on the sound quality of the experience, Let's continue onwards with our investigation and leave your score for this segment at a 10/10 as you'd wish, I presume?*Moves aside file folder and opens up vanilla envelope* Now onto your next target, tell me about the "Addictive" nature of this individual.

~~++An action set piece with artistic flair and superb OST to divert any wanderer's eyes to its appealing nature++~~

Before we jump headlong into anything regarding the addictive nature of Persona 5 Royal's presence, there are 3 critical points that determine how addictive and truly satisfying this experience will be worth for the viewers or readers we maintain in our audience this evening. The elongated and immersive plot which can easily suck you in straight away with its flashy and animated prologue/introduction as well as interesting twists you'll encounter as it advances forward. The beautiful and assorted soundtrack we've already described meticulously prior within this assessment, one that can bring many a listening ear great enjoyment when setting a moment aside to take in the instrumentation and harmonic melody of several songs found within this story. Lastly and easily the simple most important factor of them all, the entertaining and swift gameplay one can hope to get lost in and experience much joy whilst doing so. The story shall be delved deeper into in a moment from now; however, what we can say is that for a standard JRPG one might take interest in seeking out....it most certainly has a lot going in its favor. A unique premise not unlike those we've experience thus far in our Persona entries prior, merely expanding upon it and maintaining that same charismatic charm as well as offering something fresh and inviting to returning fans and newcomers alike.
Amongst the aforementioned characteristics above, 2 other points of worth regarding the range and quality of addictiveness this game offers you come in the forms of Confidant Bonds and the Persona Compendium. The prior being involved with those you interact and choose to get close to along your long and harrowing journey. Choosing to help them with a certain predicament they're facing at the moment, or just merely hanging out with them somewhere to chat or have a good time and take your mind away from the hard fought battles and trauma you've overcome thus far. The Latter being related to everyone's deepest form of power within this world, primed and ready to be used for righteous or mischievous gains within the Metaverse. Persona! With almost 100 fusions at your disposal to create and the arts/latent potentials, there are sure to be several interesting creations and mixtures. One persona that nulls almost all Magic Arts such as Fire, Wind, or Lightning? Pair that up and swap in-between battles with one that nulls or repels all Physical attacks? How about even one primarily used for supports/debuffs/and healing? It's all up to you and may even gain some useful Skill Cards for completing certain quests, so can be beneficial to not slouch on the Requests you receive whilst outside of Palaces and Mementos.

/_ ``Royal Extras`` _/

There are some extra's within not within the Original PS3 release and included within Royal, much like the "Showtime!" attacks stated briefly in your testimony for the graphical accountability of this release. Between simple changes like easier ways to increase your social stats like knowledge and charm, to extra scenes of dialogue between friends and foe alike some of which are natural to this story and others are included in the added events or holidays tossed onto the plate. There are also more grandiose or drastic changes to the game as well such as the Will Seeds found within palaces, changes in the difficulty or tweaks on boss fight mechanics from the get go, even more beneficial odds for your protagonist with a revamp on the Baton Pass as well as the added stamp system within Mementos. Both of which are of great use during battle as the Baton Pass is already freely available and comes in Ranked form now, as you're able to increase it you'll now receive additional benefits to the party member you send it off towards even so much that medium physical or magic spells can be amped up to a strength comparable to a Severe strength attack as it continues getting passed around in succession. That's not even accounting for the fact that the last person to receive the aid, will now be able to use it without any loss of stamina or health. The stamps while not quite as effective in terms of raw power, can certainly make your dash through the story a far smoother one. With the ability to upgrade how much EXP can be earned from battle, Earning multiple supplies from pickups inside Mementos or the shadow encounter therein, and even just plain and simple cold hard-fought cash!

*Point of View filters back out into reality* There is much more left to be discussed when it comes to how much this case and its conspirators will throw your way in terms of moderate enjoyment, to tense and clash filled moments of ecstasy and excitement. Everyone's been stating that you've merely been doing this heists out of nothing but pure enjoyment and desire to destroy those whom don't suit your ideals. Do you admit this as your justification for said cases? Or....much like I am willing to believe after being tossed back, front, and center when piecing together each part of your story from beginning to end. Is there another purpose behind it all, a true motive that led you to have to to hide your identities and plans from the police and others around you unrelated to the Phantom Thieves. Whether from your calm and moderate demeanor or perhaps mental exhaustion from my end when having to work on all this alone, I can say even I'm being grappled in by what you have to say and share. It's easy to see how much one could be convinced after some time to accept such a distinct and addictive struggle that you've had to shoulder as well. We'll leave off this section with a 9/10 for Addictiveness. *Prosecutor stares at watch subtly and returns to eyesight* Looks like our time is shortening by the minutes here, so let's push along onto the 4th victim you and your Phantom Thieves went after. *Shuffles papers out of Envelope* Probably your guy's toughest case yet at this point, but tell me how you took down and proceeded to endure your encounter with the "Story" group.

???. A story wrought with deception, vulgarity, and greed. Ruining simple passerby's, as well as the emotions of those watching and reading these events here .???

Corruption and Power.....two sides of the same coin like a yin and yang scenario. Some people can harness power and strength and build themselves up in the world as they'd see fit, whereas others merely seek for an easy way out no matter whom they'd have to dispose of nor the consequences of their actions. Many people of this world have the capability to reach said advancements or realizations of power, and yet even those with strong willed hearts and of mind can and have been manipulated in our history's past by this temptation of greed and satisfaction. We jump into our first sights of the Phantom Thieves during one of their now recognized and infamous heists, our hero Joker seems to be making quick work of those surrounding his goal. Having gathered the Palace Owner's Treasure and ready to make his escape....partially through however, we come across a strange woman and Metaverse user. Albeit having come to aid us in a moment of need we do have to question their intentions, as we've had our fair share of doubts and questionable people surrounding us and our gang as of late. Breaking through to the palace entrance our protagonist bursts through the stain-glassed window, landing relatively safely out onto the ground below. But, wait.......huh?? How the heck did all of these patrol members get into the Metaverse, knowing exactly how to surround us as well?! *Looks up and gets bashed in forehead with the butt of a shotgun* Shortly afterwards we are picked up by the authorities and placed inside an interrogation chamber, tortured and demanded to be given a confession statement for the random......MURDERS?! Nnngghh!! If I wasn't so out of it from the drugs they've poured into my system and physical beatings, I might possibly be able to understand what they're saying....get a better grasp on my memory or sanity at the very least.
Am then greeted by another woman, this time in normal attire and not appearing to be anything similar to the previous girl encountered upon the heist. Addressing herself as a member of the public prosecutors office and having been put onto this case, apparently wanting to get her own take on what's been happening and not just the dirt and spam they've been trying to shovel down everyone's throat. She wants us to go over the events that led up to Joker's arrest prior to this moment, warning not to leave anything important out even the smallest of details as our time is very limited and been cut down short by our captors. *Joker rubs forehead as memories of the past several months fly by his mind and eyes* Who was that drunken man I encountered that day.....the one I confronted along my way home and tried to aid from being pushed onto by said drunkard. He's the reason all these events have started unfolding in the first place......My Probation. What caused all the dispute and rivalry to form at Shujin Academy, leading to Ryuji, Ann, And I to obtain these elusive and mysterious powers and forms. Cooperating to take down a merciless leader amongst the school board, and his sickeningly disturbing view of our lives and world we live in! Even more insane.....is why in particular at this instance, are we being treated to a guidance counselor at this school? Seems like something necessary after all the drama that's gone on, and he doesn't seem to have any underhanded motives when discussing his therapy sessions with Joker. Whom is this strange psychologist and will he be an asset to the Phantom Thieves in some regard? All we can hope to do is continue pressing forward, hoping to grasp the truth and reality of it all.

*Flashing shot back into reality as relaxes hand onto table* .......Hm, I see. So you're claiming that you haven't been the ones seriously injuring certain figured of the general public, with what the media and subsequent doctor's are claiming as Psychotic-Breakdowns....rather another individual at large. One much too grand and high up your pay grade to even have any comparison made between the two of you. It's all starting to become much clearer to see that your words are shining in a far more honest light compared to the investigators that have been sent out to the scenes. It'd only make sense after all, as this isn't the first critical loss your team has taken on the chin before....why refrain from such motives in the past and yet lose it after 1 interaction with a corrupted case victim? Questions for another time I suppose, we must move onward now to the next task your team was setup with. One with probably the longest and most time consuming portion of your adventure thus far. *Takes paper out of folder and moves it towards Joker with her hand* Tell me about the "Depth" case that you've handled during your romp through Royal, we'll leave the score for the story section at a 10/10 for now.

1234DQR++ Hours and Hours of enjoyment and progress that lay ahead, with an expansive list of features and additional content! ++RQD4321

As you can probably ascertain from the last several listings and cases brought to your attention, there is a lot to get involved with in this Persona entry. Even more so than the previous entries that came beforehand and its original late 2016 release for the PS3. You've already got an entire story knocking you right out of the gates as soon as you accepted your contract pending your arrival at the New Game option, while genuinely remaining in the present we're tossed back several months beforehand to reflect upon our actions up to our capture. It isn't too far-fetched to say that while it may not take actual months to complete the story compared to the time in-game, if you're more so of a completionist it'll probably at least take you close to 80-100 hours of overall gameplay. Possibly even more depending on how skilled you are at said genre of games and if you choose whether to forgo helpful but optional quests and confidants in terms of blitzing through and enjoying the story for all that you can ASAP. There are 8 palaces in total when looking at the base game and how your game first starts on April 6th and practically ends on December 25th, the rest of the following days primarily being cutscene based before jumping into the credits screen. That's not even including the additional content provided within the pages of Royal and its set of DLC! So what do you say we jump more in "depth" about the bonus content you can expect to enjoy throughout the many several hours you'll stick into this title? *Unravels and tosses grappling hook towards chandelier above next segment*

* Extra Semester*

The base Persona 5 game ended on December 25th and skips time forward weeks and months ahead before reaching its ultimate conclusion, just as stated prior. That is of course just in the base version wherein our "Royal" version of 5's story still has a bit more to lean on with an additional school semester up through the beginning of February. You may be confused and thinking like: "Well uh....Ok cool? We defeated the final confrontation and have some additional times with friends and all, but is that really worth all the effort?" which fair play and understanding to those that may believe so. Yet that is a misconception based on the premise of the name alone, as there is one important and impactful factor to the reasoning behind having one. Not only is our time extended throughout January to early February, but also as much as we know briefly about the newest additions to the cast of this beloved story....Violet and Counselor Maruki. Have we ever really been too deep or close with them throughout our journey? Do we really understand them on a practical and intimate level, if there's really more to them than meets their calm demeanor? That is where the grand scheme and semester takes center stage, welcoming in a new 9th Palace of Distortion. What is this new place and whom could be its ruler, I mean we took down practically everyone that seemed like a natural threat to us, so what gives? The Metaverse app is gone as well, so why does it almost feel like we're the only ones trapped in a figmented reality. Skull......Panther......Fox. What happened to you all, I can't be the only one whom finds this strange! *Footsteps approach from behind* You're not. You're also not the only one whom has a score to settle with whomever has set up this wild goose chase of a world. What do you say, since we're the only sane ones left in this world....why not team up and spot things out for ourselves? W-What?! ....C-Crow?!

}|{ [***](O) DLC content and included Extras (O)II(Y)/~~/

Reaching out towards the rest this game expansion has to offer, lets start first with the simplest of the bunch. This being that as you continue making headway towards your ultimate goal in the game, you'll receive Thieves Den points. When the times comes that you feel you have enough and would like to take a casual break and ease yourself out for a minute....this is the perfect place to come to. Here you can trade in the Thieves Den points for music from the soundtrack to listen to in game while remaining within the area, take a look at and purchase artwork from the game either through promotional material, or beta designs from conception to reality. Videos can also be played back and enjoyed during your visit towards this establishment, cutscenes galore from your limitless hours spent trying to help aid others and this country. The next and more larger example in the grand scheme of things comes from a new area within Shibuya itself, in a residence called Kichijoji. After being given access to meetup at this place of hangout there are several activities and shops that can be visited, some of which will have very remarkable benefits and others being decent at worst as well. From Billiards to help improve your social rank between all party members involved, also being used to raise your technical skill level as well. To Darts where you'll significantly be able to increase your Baton Pass rank if played properly and efficiently, ranking all the way from 1 to Max (3) within a single visit! Even if you take it easier with the lowest amount of 301, you'll still receive a rank up to level 2 regardless. The last 2 being the Shrine which will increase Joker's SP by a small margin each time, and the Jazz bar which will increase your stats, or allows you to gain a new random Persona skill.
Why don't we finish things off with probably the most valuable and worthwhile upgrade from the base game to the Royal showboat, the DLC costumes and DLC Persona's! Now while it may just seem like a cosmetic change and small additive to our already large list of Persona's to pull from, what makes them special and important is their effect and meaningfulness to the fans of the Megami Tensei as well as this series happy spectators. Let's show you an example, say if were were to do this... *replaces Shujin Academy garb with Yasogami High outfit* what do you think? Remind "Yu" of someone else for a moment, huh. Just wait till you see this as well! *runs up and bashes hand across Shadow's body, as Time to Make History plays in background* Not only will we look like our character but we'll also be backed up by their music as well! This can make subsequent playthroughs of this game just as fun as the first song and dance, changing up the melody as you see fit and testing it out across many of the different palaces or encounters across this adventure.

*Hazy vision returns to clear perspective of the interrogation room and eyesight of Nijima-San* Seems like this story is finally approaching its climax, just as quickly as our final few moments together seem to be counting down. There's no denying that this case is far greater and grander that would meet or be accepted by one's eyes and mind at first glance, of course maybe I'm just jaded because I've had so much time to exchange discourse with you face to face? Bonds are typically better formed in-person compared to simple words over a screen or audio recording. Though I don't think sarcasm from either of us would be beneficial at this point, instead let us focus on your latest and final target. Someone with immense power and support from several outlets, running for prime minister of Japan in the current election. Tell me more about this "difficulty" target and how you planned on approaching him and making it out alive? I'll mark down your notes for this case down quickly with a given score of a 9/10 overall, now continue forward with your explanation. *Prosecutor crosses her legs as she stares at you heavily contemplating the past several weeks*

___/_/____ Raising difficulties in certain regards, while dismissing it in others due grandiose overhauls ___/_/___

Many positives have been brought about do to the updates and changes presented within this re-release and newfound material. One side though that some may be disappointed in regard to the original PS3/standard PS4 release, is the difficulty curve being lowered significantly in this upgrade. While boss fights have been altered and made more challenging by comparison as well as adding an additional "Merciless" difficulty option, the changes elsewhere still hold a stronger margin of impact on this rating and defining feature of Persona 5 Royal. First off let's get into one of the more striking and graphically appealing additions to this entry, the "Showtime" Attacks. While cool to look at and activate in battle, them together stacked ontop of All out Attacks can easily mow down even tough or difficult foes without much of a sweat. Secondly, the Unstable Shadows. These are new variations of enemies that will appear both in mementos and within palaces, when dealt severe damage and drained of HP they'll end up exploding causing a moderate-significant amount of damage to any surrounding shadows within said encounter. Third, Will Seeds. SP conservation was a major strategy if you wanted to get through Palaces ASAP, within the first few days or so. With the newly added Will Seeds found through the Palace each one will restore some SP for the entire party. In addition, collecting all 3 of them throughout progression across the area will reward you with a exclusive and special accessory to equip. Some of these rage from allowing you to start with increased attack for 3 returns, regaining a certain percentage of HP and SP per turn, even increasing your all around magic's strength all of which also give you a secondary skill as well and are varied across each accessory.
Fourth, the "Stamps" you are given the opportunity to collect and redeem with the new visitor within Mementos, Jose. While technically not making the enemies or foes relatively weaker amongst the normal play sessions, it does heavily cut down on the time would normally take to grind for levels which some may consider a savior but also a drop in difficulty due to the easier nature of leveling up by comparison. We could list many more reasons already described in previous segments that would only add to this demonstration, showing that while enjoyable and cool additions some portions like this will have to pay the price in the end for it. Bosses have been reworked to remove or alter weaknesses and even extended the fight in general longer than their original counterparts, making for stronger judgement calls when anticipating your next movesets. Merciless mode while it will affect you greatly if under-prepared. Due to weaknesses, critical, or technical hits being targeted causing 3x the amount of normal damage inflicted. Ironically this feature is actually what still makes this mode less challenging than Hard mode due to said fact and even through offering less EXP or Money after each fight. This is because while this can happen to you during a battle, Joker and co can pull a reverse card and cause the exact same 3x amount of damage following the same basic principles.

*Vision clears up entirely as locks eyes intensely at Prosecutor* While most would find these schemes you came up with easy to understand, actually pulling them off would be anything but child's play. It would take an incredible amount of cooperation and luck to have everything fall into place exactly as needed, something that would need to be staged perfectly. But there's something I still don't understand....why after all that planning were you still captured and brought in here for such harsh interrogation and detainment? Surely after so much practice and brilliant minds working on your team, you wouldn't just flop on such a grand plan? Isn't there anything else you can tell me regarding this case?! (That's right....I remember now. We had to set this up in order to make it out without any hiccups later on) No answer huh? Ngh....Guess that's all we'll be able to get from our conversation. /I sure have been a difficult one/ /Can you really just give it up?/ ----> /You already know the truth, right?/ . What are you talking about? ........!! No way....you're referring to "that" individual in this entire case at large currently, aren't you? /Not my teammates/ ----> /The Traitor/ /Someone else/ . Just....wow. Your story already seem fantasy based enough, but to think this is where everything would lead...it's unreal. I've been a part of this since the beginning of this story, I may as well continue doing my part until the end. You have my word I'll show the evidence to "that" person before I leave. Before I go as well, I'll mark down your statements for the difficulty portion of this case as a 4/10 overall. *Prosecutor shuts the door and heads out of building*

We are here with the Vizzed Station News Center, to bring you an important update about the current "Phantom Thieves" debacle and case sweeping the nation. Not long ago, it was confirmed by officials that the leader of said group was arrested and taken into custody. Police questioning will probably take place over the course of several days; however, many have claimed that it seems things should quickly return to normal on the board once more. On further news, recent updates ha...been sh.....sign..cant. *Phantom Thieves logo and video feed plays on homepage* (Jade) Weeeeeelllll, Heeeelloooo
Everyooonneee!!

(Jade) This has been one wild ride of an adventure if you ask me, one that'll make your head spin and get your tensions running sky high at times!
(Wolf) Sooooooooo, if you'll give us a moment of your time, we'd like to share some final words with you! <3
(Sniper) This story has been a very impactful one, one that can rank high in the memories of time and gaming in my eyes and countless others I'm sure.
(Gale) I hope we've been able to spread and explain just how much and the reasoning behind it as well.
(Wolf) There are some people whom would choose to use this board for nothing but to pump their own egocentric ego and agenda, pinning anything they deem necessary onto those less fortunate than them. But it's time we put a stop to that!
(Jade) We will not be pushed and held under someone else's thumbs for no dang reason, we will also choose to live our own lives and not just some illusory "perfect" world in someone else's eyes! That's not life, it's just another prison, and we won't stand for it! Ain't that right, Leader? *Sonic57 appears from the shadows on Viz Board's Screen*
(Hedge) Yes, before that happens. We shall take and restore this board to its proper glory! ...... *Viz Board's video feed and audio shuts off*

*Rushes behind shadow and rips off mask*

;;;:::;;;""" Beneath the Mask ~Rain~"""::;;;:;;;

*Turns towards front door, staring at rainfall* Specially concerning the conditions placed under the following sessions below.

vvv--____)( Ark )(____--vvv

* Extra Semester*
