Tekken 2 where do I start with this, It came out in 1996 for the PS1. The game takes place after
Spoiler:
Kazuya threw Heihachi Mishima off a cliff, but sadly for Kazuya, it takes more than that to kill his father.
This one is very fun to play since it was the only game I played during the last week of school.
The core gameplay was improved for Tekken 2 by giving more moves to each character allowing them to have more variety and make them unique from each other. They also brought back every person from the first one including the unlockables too, they also added more people to choose from the "Supercop" that can play dead Lei Wulong and the "Ecological Fighter" that can mix up a ton of Jun Kazama. There are even more unlockable fighters you can get. Best of all, most of them have their own moves. The only bad thing is that you do take a long time to get back up from the ground, and there were still overpowered moves and death combos. What's also great is the special modes they added to keep the game for not going stale.
The graphics on here got a major upgrade by making the characters look better than the Tekken 1 and they also give each character their own stage which is pretty cool.
The soundtrack on here got a major improvement since you can listen to the originals that were on the arcade, and the remixed one for the PlayStation, They also brought back some of Tekken 1's songs for the secret characters. Also, I think everyone has their own voice lines too.
The story got a bit darker since Kazuya now possesses the Mishima Zaibatsu and he has done bunches of bad things that will connect to tons of the fighters to join The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2. Now the bad guy on the first one is now the good guy doing the same thing that his son did to him.
Tekken 2 is like drinking water after doing a very long walk or run and it made me feel like doing a 10-hit combo on King. I will give it a 8 out of 10.
I forgot to add this but what Paul's smile on Law's ending was funny.
