Before making a thread or a poll have place where you can type in the subject so you can see if thers already a thread or a poll similar to the tread or poll your going to make. so you want accidentally copy somebody else.

There is a search function built into the board, but it's incomplete right now.
But yeah, I know exactly what you mean, search feature for members where they can search for a thread title and it returns all similar results.
We also talked about something similar, the idea was that members could add 'tags' to their threads that people could search for.
But I think a fully featured search box with search entire post and search title only would work well.
