I've thought about if I should make a thread in this forum I mean how often do I even play games not titled Minecraft? However today I have something I wanna talk about and I've been playing a lot that being osu!

I'm on a mission to get good at osu! I wanna be able to play with a friend without her having to handicap herself so heavily only problem is she's good enough to do like 5 star maps at least last I played with her it's been probably at least a year since I last played osu! with her but I can only do like 2 stars though when I started playing again in June I could barely do low 2 stars but now now lower 2 stars with hard rock is to slow for my taste but I'm not really good enough to do 3 stars much though that could be because I'm just playing everything with hard rock but I don't know. Today I decided to stop trying to play 3 star maps and play maps near my recommended difficulty which I only noticed today which according to osu! was 2.18 I just checked and from playing today I pushed it to 2.29 but instead of only playing songs I knew I liked I started playing any map that was ranked in that difficulty range and I had a lot of fun and I also worked on being able to play longer cause I'm used to my hand getting tired after like 20 minutes which was still true but I played for about 4 hours and 30 minutes though by the end I couldn't do higher 2 stars anymore my hand was just tired. If anyone sees this and has tips for osu! I'd gladly accept advice lol. Also is the fact I raised my ranking by 40k today good?

Editing this since it's the same day and I'm not going to double post on the same day I must hate my hands because I've begun playing osu! again but I don't really have anything to add to that except my hand hurts after one song after earlier but my desire to improve it too strong to ignore unfortunately for myself. Earlier I picked up Persona Q2 again to make a bit of progress since I've owned the game 2 whole years almost and I'm still only on the 2nd dungeon I was able to make it to a new floor in said dungeon and unlock a new character and I got to see a unison attack for the first time and it was honestly pretty hype I can't lie.

I wanted to edit my post again last night but since the site was down I didn't get the chance but after saying I didn't have anything to have on osu! last night I proved myself wrong for starters I found a map that really good at pissing me off called Rap de Chocobo which is a remix of the Chocobo theme from Final Fantasy remixed and has a rap over it and maybe it's because I've watched my mom do so much Chocobo racing but the moment I heard it I was annoyed and it didn't get much better because the map was the first one I ran into where there would be 3 circles like right next to each other you have to click in quick succession probably wouldn't be so bad if I didn't do everything on hard rock but I had to come back to it later because I couldn't beat it. When I did come back to it the song continued to majorly ruffle my feathers because I had a really good attempt going had a full combo and I missed the last note and got a medal for it I've never felt so insulted in my life and of course it would come on a map that already annoyed me. I had to full combo it before coming back and posting on it so I did just that the only bad thing is I still feel like I need more practice at the 3 in a row thing so I'll likely have to play the map for more practice. Besides that the other thing I really wanted to talk about is at some point I tried a map of the song Again from FMAB and before I couldn't full combo it on hard rock and I really wanted to but it's mix up on tempo really messed with me and I was able to last night and it really caught me off guard cause I wasn't aware that I had improved from playing so much yesterday and to try and see what the difference was I watched the replay and realized first that my play that I thought was insane while playing looked no where near as impressive as I thought but when I watched my older replay I figured out what had improved so much. It turns out my movements are a lot calmer and are more controlled in comparison to before and I guess it makes sense cause all day I had been taking deep breaths any time the game gave me a break I was really focused on being in control of my emotions so I didn't stress as much and it was working I'm still a bit shocked seeing how much it's helping though. After playing Again I decided to try a map I really wanted to full combo that I hadn't been able to even without hard rock called The Noise of Rain which is a song I really liked after seeing on discord that a friend was playing it a month back so when I got back into the game I downloaded it (It's the English version mapped by Battle if anyone is curious) and after all this time I finally full comboed it on hard rock which felt amazing and ranked as my best play according to my profile for about 10 minutes! Because right after doing that I decided it was time to do a 1000 combo for the first time and I was able to pull it off though I failed the full combo near the end it didn't matter cause I already hit 1000 which was my goal. This morning I played a bit and did a couple more 1000 combos which I'm pretty happy with I told my brother about my day and got to look like the cooler older brother I most definitely am. I wanted to play a bit more and try to have something else to talk about on osu! before posting again but I couldn't get my emotions under enough control so maybe later tonight I'll be able to play better. (Since I like having my profile in these posts to have reference on where I was when I made these here!)

In other news I played a bit of Q2 again today while my Mom was in my room for an interview but I didn't make enough progress to really have anything to say but I'm so bad at directions I really need to make a like detailed guide for myself on where to go and I would still probably get lost.

Might as well start talking about osu! I haven't played as much this week as I thought I would but it's alright because I'm extremely happy with my results because not only am In the top 800k which when I started playing again I was 1.6 million like 50 days ago so I've cut that in half but I also tried messing around for a bit on 3 stars to see if I was actually any closer to being able to actually play them and I'm happy to report I'm getting there I was able to keep up a lot longer without a mistake in comparison to trying before.

I surprisingly actually made decent progress in Q2 yesterday I have made it to the 2nd dungeon's boss who massacred me when I attempted to fight it but the fact I just have to grind and have a good strategy makes me feel good that I might beat the 2nd dungeon this year I might even get to see what the 3rd dungeon looks like so pretty exciting time all around.

I originally wasn't going to talk about mc here cause there's the blog for vizzed.co but I played a bit of mc not on there so I guess it's only fair I bring it up here. I was playing with Furret and we really were questioning how bad we are getting we almost lost to this guy called Uncledave123 that was a steve and looked like he had no idea what he was doing and we both had a chance to kill him but someone jumped in front of us getting us killed both times we were so pissed. Then when only one guy was left uncledave123 missed hitting him and fell into the void so we won and avoided having to retire early.

While we were playing fqur came back from eating and Furret was telling her how I raged like a classic cartoon character when the guy blocked my shot like steam coming out of my ears and said it was one of my biggest rage moments he'd ever seen but he then reminded me of the most bs moment of my gaming career. So earlier in the year me and Furret played some pokemon nuzlocks on call and the first one we did was Pokemon Emerald and while I was training for the elite 4 I had a Wobbuffet so as you can imagine not the easiest Pokémon to train unless you wanna switch train and me being stubborn I refused. I was really close to a level up so I decided I would go to a route with level 13 Marill to train and what happened next I will never ever get over. The Marill kept spamming tail whip and anytime I would click counter it would use water gun so I was just getting unlucky and Furret kept saying I should switch cause if hit tackle it would do a lot since I was -6 defense but I was at full health and my Wobbuffet was like level 46 vs level 13 Marill I thought for sure it would live but it clicked tackle and I dropped dead from a level 13 Marill and I think I slammed my desk the hardest I ever have while Furret was dying laughing so I ended up having to pick and train a new pokemon to bring to the elite 4 I was so pissed. The worst thing is months later we talked about it and I swear to you I damage calculated every possible way with the right stats on my Wobbuffet and it dying is factually impossible! So how did mine die it makes no damn sense! I'll never like Marill after that.

I don't really have any big updates in osu! So instead I wanna talk about Persona Q2 I've actually been playing it a lot lately and since I was bored I actually tried issuing tickets to get rewards and do little side quest like things and I was surprised at how fun they can be and how well they work as quick little things you can finish in like 20 minutes. I thought it was really cool how things brought up in the plot are progressed and dove into more in these little events often times leading into characters teaming up and forming bonds with the other game cast members. While I found most of them pretty easy a few times I got a bit careless and got myself backed up in a corner like I ended up doing probably the longest one so far and right like 2 steps away from the end got myself forced to fight a higher level FOE where if I lost I would have to start the mission all over it was a really stressful fight but I barely managed to pull off a victory stupid dinosaur. If that wasn't enough after that mission I was given some new special mission and I was like oh man what will it be this time and I got caught completely off guard because the mission was...
Spoiler:
fighting Theodore!
and I'm always scared when facing an challenge like this I mean I've only faced one in Persona 4 Golden haven't gotten around to it in the other games yet but I imagine I'll be facing more in Q2 and for a low level encounter it was still really tough to win but I did manage to pull it off. After a bit more preparation I managed to beat the boss of the 2nd dungeon finally which is such a relief after being on the 2nd dungeon for so long. I've only got to the 2nd floor of the 3rd dungeon so far but seeing the P3 cast interact with Femc really makes me feel bad for her and also really makes me wanna play portable to see what it's like playing as her cause I've heard her responses you can say as her are more cheery compared to the male protag and I kind of wanna see how that changes the feel of the game. After I beat this 3rd dungeon I'm going to have to take sometime to really think about what the best party for me is gonna be for the rest of the game since I have like 3 of this item that raises whoever I use it on's level to match the highest in the party. Oddly enough after saying I don't like Q2 many times over the past 2 years I'm starting to actually really enjoy the game.

Been a while since I've posted in here so I figured it was about time to post some updates on what I've been up to gaming wise! I'm sure I'll forget half of the things I wanted to talk about but starting off I wanna talk about a Fire Red Nuzlocke with randomized items and Pokemon I've been playing with Ian. It's been going alright for the most part is what I would say if my name was Ian! He's just chilling with Jirachi with Doom Desire and Meteor Mash and I have a team barely staying alive and then when I got my random level 25 pokemon the game decided wouldn't it be funny if we gave him marill? No it's not funny at all game! The other bad thing is I can't get any cheat to work to make it so I don't have to grind for hours so it'll be a long nuzlocke for sure.

The other main game I've been playing lately is Persona 3 Portable because I wanted to see the female main character route which I've enjoyed a lot more than I thought I would being able to control my teammates makes the game way more enjoyable than when I first played it and the game gave me the dumbest ai I've ever seen where back then I was playing it along with Ian and his ai worked perfectly till the final boss shout out Aigis choosing not to heal him and instead healing Mitsuru which almost cost him the fight but the final boss missed because the previous turn Aigis upped the party's hit/evasion rate, anywho speaking of the final boss I'm almost to that point myself well really I should just be counting down the days however I decided I wanna get the extra bosses done so I don't need to play p3 again except for the answer. At level 70 I randomly was like I can probably take the Reaper right??? and to my surprise I actually won meaning I've now beaten the stupid thing in 3, 4, and 5 which is one of my goals done but I still need to beat the super bosses of each game except for Golden's since I've already done that. I'm having a race against the clock to prepare myself for the bosses I have left to face with Portable extra content on top of the secret boss from the main game and FES. My issue is I only have 10 days left and I still need to raise my level another like 15 levels and I typically leave once I run out of SP. What likely will need to happen is I just stay in Tartarus and exhaust my money resources to hopefully make it happen on the last day possible so I don't need to replay 3 again but I'm definitely cutting it close.

I keep forgetting to update what I've been up to for a while in here so after nearly a month it's time to talk about what I've been up to in gaming as of late! After finishing my playthrough of Persona 3 Portable I ended up playing Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and finally being able to accept Roxas as a character instead of hating him over something that had nothing to do with the games or his character I really gotta say the scene that won me over was for sure when Xion couldn't use her keyblade so Roxas just gave his over to her and said he'd manage with a stick I was just sitting there like omg what an idiot but in like a laughing sort of way you know? I just thought it was so stupid he would do that but I really thought it added charm to his character a character who I thought whole appeal was that he was edgy but I was completely wrong though I was sitting there feeling stupid when he did that cause I was like oh obviously I'm not gonna have to fight with a stick I must play as Xion this mission! My face when the cutscenes ended and I was playing with Roxas with a stick was probably priceless. I wouldn't say 358 is ahead of any other Kingdom Hearts game for me but I enjoyed it way more than I expected minus 2 bosses that can be burned with Firaga for all I care and the ending was amazing I had no idea that scene that's in several Kingdom Hearts games ever got to be played and it was a lot of fun. Following 358 I started Recoded and at first I was loving it which caught me off guard cause I hate the command deck from Birth By Sleep but now I've just made it to Agrabah and I still like how the command deck has played in this game but my issue is just how many gimmicks the game makes you deal with like I didn't enjoy the 2D sidescroller part and the shooting was kind of fun once I realized I could block but doing a classic rpg battle system eventually made me turn critical off because I just couldn't be bothered to keep trying forever on critical and it's just like I play Kingdom Hearts for the gameplay I've fell in love with since seeing my Dad play the game at a young age and the story somewhat, but I wanna enjoy the combat which is hard when every boss is in a different genre of game if I wanted to play Final Fantasy I'd play Final Fantasy and it's really frustrating.

The only other game I've played recently is Smash since Sora was released and I already talked about that a good bit in another post but to give a slight update to that I'm starting to run low on money to buy more spirits I don't have which isn't good I really don't wanna have to get to a point where I have to wait for every spirit to show up on the spirit board but if I don't get money soon from doing World of Light a 2nd time I might end up in that exact situation.

Maybe in a month when I post here again I'll have some OSU to talk about but that requires me putting time into the game which isn't the most fun by myself all the time so we'll see.

Since my last update in here I finished recoded and both games on 2.8 however instead of focusing on those I wanna talk about Birth By Sleep since I decided to replay it on critical after learning I once again failed to finish the game since there's a secret episode I had no idea about and instead of fighting a bunch of unversed and getting all the stickers I rather just give the game a 2nd chance this time on critical now that I have knowledge of the game so I once more have begun playing it. When I did my tier list now that I finished all the important games in the series (I don't count melody of memory still) I ranked Birth By Sleep in the C Tier below the DS games which to be fair I couldn't remember all my reasons for disliking it so much but in case anyone is curious I shall once again provide the tier list.
I've only been replaying Birth By Sleep 2 days and I've already finished playing Ventus which I'm now happy to say now that I don't hate Roxas with all my soul and am not to busy being like ew you look like Roxas I actually like Ven. I was super busted early on I left the first world as Ventus with Second Chance, Once More, and Leaf Bracer and as a level 12. So for a while no enemy could really challenge me however I eventually did run into my issue with Birth By Sleep again which is the damage scaling sucks to put it lightly if you are not the level the game wants you to be you just deal next to no damage and I hate it like in any other Kingdom Hearts game you can be under leveled and still deal reasonable damage where it feels fair but in Birth By Sleep it feels like a turn based RPG where your number is just not big enough which means grinding feels a lot more required in Birth By Sleep then it does in any other Kingdom Hearts game at least for me. This is really bad considering I started out over leveled and I was fighting all the enemies I came across but I still ended up under leveled by a good bit. The Final Boss for Ventus did destroy me for a little bit but I did eventually win now I'm about to turn on the PS3 and start playing as Terra.

(As a side note I've been playing some osu! again but I really don't have anything to mention on it still so maybe next time?)

It's been over 100 posts and nearly 3 months since I last updated this so uh oops... Where to even begin, I guess I should follow up on Birth By Sleep since I finished it a couple of days after my last post here. Terra wasn't to bad from what I recall took me a few tries to beat his final boss but all in all wasn't that bad. Aqua on the other hand took me a while to start feeling comfortable with her magic is good but her physical damage starts out so bad which made it tedious but eventually she got to a point where it felt better and I got through her story without to much trouble. The Final Episode on the other hand I had to grind to get to a level where the fight felt fair but once I got to level 40 it once again wasn't to bad. Then I played the Secret Episode for the first time ever and it was amazing honestly it was one of my favorite parts of the game just seeing how open the world was level design wise and the boss was pretty fun. That being said I can now say I would rank Birth by Sleep in B tier of my Kingdom Hearts tier list above the DS games.

After Birth by Sleep I'm not really sure what games I was playing for a while so jumping to December I finally finished a game I had owned for 2 years and barely put in more than a few hours and that game was Final Fantasy X which while playing I learned that right around the time I was born according to my mom that her and my dad would play the game all the time which made me feel more motivated to beat the game cause I'm probably weird but when I hear about something where a game is connected to when I was young or something even if it wasn't me playing it and instead my parents I feel a weird bond with said game that makes me wanna play it which I also have with Kingdom Hearts. That being said I'm going to talk about spoilers below this so don't check it out if you are worried about being spoiled for Final Fantasy X.
Spoiler:
I was overwhelmed with emotion when you finally get to Zanarkand and the scene from the title screen plays I'm not sure if it's cause I started the game 2 years prior and just finally made it or if it's because I felt a connection to the game with Tidus and how he feels about his dad seeing how I've not always known how to feel about mine but if I had to guess it was a combination of different things but that scene for whatever reason it may be was one of the hardest hitting moments in a game for me and easily the highlight of the whole game.

After FFX I next played The great Ace Attorney but I'm not gonna comment on that until I finish the 2nd game so instead I'm gonna talk about Xenoblade Chronicles in a very very light spoiler way just if you are worried don't read unless you have the Monado as Shulk's weapon which happens really early in.

I don't really have much to comment on plot wise so all I wanted to say was I adore this game's use of Shulk's visions the seeing future enemy attacks bit is cool enough as is but what blew my mind was when I picked up a side quest item that I didn't have the quest for the first time and saw Shulk have a vision of the quest letting you know of future important items it's such a smart inclusion.

I forgot to say now I'm replaying KH1FM on Proud mode for the first time and been enjoying the game a lot more than I thought I would sure there's parts I don't like still namely Atlantica and Deep Jungle but I've been surprised by how much easier the game is than what I was expecting it really shows how much I've gone through in the other games since the last time I played 1 I was on standard as I always played on standard but right after 1 I was told I could never beat 2 on critical and so I proved said person wrong and ever since I always play on critical... for the most part I mean I couldn't in 0.2 or DDD and Recoded I'll replay at some point only with critical but that's a future problem for future me.

It's been quite some time since my last update in here makes it hard to even know where to begin but sadly no osu! Update because I've not had access to my PC for over 2 months.

Since last time I beat Xenoblade Chronicles and I then went on to replay Xenoblade Chronicles 2 which I was able to enjoy some Easter eggs thanks to context of the first game that being said I'm not entirely sure which one would be my favorite probably 2 just because of how often I had to grind in 1 but both are great games regardless.

I'm skipping pokemon legends for the time being cause I wanna talk about it around the end so instead I'll talk about a Pokemon game I wasn't expecting to enjoy being Pokemon Unite. So from what I've heard and such Pokemon Unite is really similar to League of Legends a game that I find no enjoyment in but maybe cause it's pokemon I actually have been enjoying a lot I've mostly been playing it casually to enjoy it more but I realized how similar it is to a Minecraft mini game I used to play of all things and playing something similar after 5 years of missing said mini game is something I never imagined I'd get to experience again.

I feel like I'm forgetting several more games I've been playing but I have one more to talk about before going back to pokemon that being Persona Q2 where after getting so lost in the 3rd dungeon and gaining 5 extra levels I actually beat a boss first try for once now I'm pretty excited to see where the game goes from here.

Finally to talk about Pokemon I am getting decently close at achieving my own requirements to become a Pokemon Master which I know is kinda a silly goal considering it's not really given a requirement from the anime but seeing how the anime was my only exposure to Pokemon for a while I still feel the need to aim to be a Pokemon Master So that being said you might wonder what are my personal requirements to consider myself a Pokemon Master well I always thought you had to catch em all which with Pokemon Legends I finally completed the National Dex so with that taken care of my remaining goals are... Get all the gold symbols from the Hoenn Battle Frontier beat the black tower in Black 2 and finally become the grand master on a Pixelmon Minecraft server that really was my introduction to competitive battling. I also had a goal of winning the champion tournament in the PWT in Black 2 but I just finally did that in doubles in the last month beating Red in the final match. I think if I dedicate a lot of my free time to these I can achieve my goal before Scarlett and Violet are released but I might be underestimating the Battle Frontier or overestimating my skill when it comes to becoming grand master, speaking of which to become grand master I'll have to defeat 4 master trainers and then the grand master and each master trainer had a Uber pokemon like Kyogre so it's foolish to underestimate on top of which you need 16 badges and to have been champion before but I achieved those goals back in 2020. Hopefully I'll be able to continue documenting my progress towards this goal at a decent rate but time will tell.

While there are several things I could talk about in this post today my sole focus is going to be on the Pokemon Emerald Battle Frontier as much of my time over the past month has been dedicated to beating it and what a journey it was... So before I could even start battling I needed to get a team together and the Pokemon I decided on were Latios, Walrein, and Metagross I started by hunting down Latios which took about 30 minutes when I made a horrible mistake I forgot to look up if Latios nature was set when you caught it or when you picked which color the Pokemon on the tv was which turned out to be the one on the tv and it was Bold a nature I wasn't even that upset with however finding Latios a 2nd time proved to be a test of endurance as over the next several days I hunted for Latios with no luck eventually I did find and catch it with the Master Ball but it was tedious for sure. Next I decided to reset for Adamant Metagross and instead of that I found something I would of never imagined finding 1/8192 Shiny Beldum and once I saw that I couldn't reset since I've never found a 1/8000 shiny before thankfully, it was relaxed which I didn't find to be to bad of a nature. Finally I caught a bunch of Spheal before deciding the best one was also a relaxed one. After that I spent the next couple days EV training which I had never done the normal slow way and it sucked! However it was also rewarding knowing that I trained them myself for the battles instead of just feeding them EV items like I would in Shield. After deciding on the items to give them I decided to start with the Battle Tower which I mean it's in just about every Pokemon game battle trainers forever pretty simple right? Well I lost 5 times xD first to a trainer with 3 legends which made me lose my mind, then to minimize blissey and I forget the other times but they were earlier on where I was just annoyed from losing in later streaks. After that I decided to do the Battle Dome which is a tournament where you use 2 Pokemon based on which Pokemon you think your opponent will bring and you even get a summary of the trainer's skill level and their playstyle this was by far my favorite facility I LOVE tournaments in any setting pretty much so this was a perfect set up for me to enjoy and it definitely helps that I never lost in the Battle Dome I had a couple of close calls but my Pokemon pulled through each time! Side note I like the Frontier Brain for the Dome doing an entrance and appealing to the crowd before battling you speaking of which the crowd gets bigger as the tournament goes on I thought that was such a nice detail. Next I went for the Battle Palace where you don't choose which moves your Pokemon use but instead only have the option to switch them out which I expected to be the worst but I only lost this one once though I had a couple of close calls where the opposing Pokemon clicked a stupid move when victory was in reach for them allowing me to continue on. After the Palace I went to the Arena and I'll be honest I don't really understand how the Arena works completely basically each battle is 3v3 still but each 1v1 matchup can only last 3 turns if neither Pokemon is KOed by then it goes to judge's decision based on things like if your moves were Super Effective and how much HP you lost but in the final battle I swear I should of lost a Pokemon by Judges Decision but instead the Arena Tycoon's Pokemon lost so what do I know? Next is the god forsaken Battle Factory I hated the Battle Factory the amount of times I lost to some random garbage is so stupid I stopped keeping count but my favorite was the time I had 3 good Pokemon near full health for Lapras to then land Horn Drill and Sheer Cold back to back I completely forgot to mention how this one works but basically you rent Pokemon and can swap one for one of the Opponents Pokemon after each battle. Then I had to do the Battle Pike where you choose 1 of 3 rooms and you get a hint at what one of the rooms could be which wasn't too bad but did take forever with it being 140 rooms I had to go through and the fact the Pike Queen had a Seviper on her team wasn't doing her any favors. Finally I had one facility left the Battle Pyramid where you go through a randomly generated floor with trainers, wild Pokemon, and items on the floor which means you have to find good held items to use in the Battle Pyramid! I lost quite a number of times mostly cause only on my last 2 attempts did I realize that you could get hints if you talked to a trainer after beating them which made it so much more manageable. When I finally got to battle Pyramid King Brandon all I could think of his anime version shouting NO! All the time but when I beat him his quote did make me feel a bit emotional cause it just perfectly captured how I felt going through all of it.

I can say without a doubt the Battle Frontier is the hardest thing I've ever done in a Pokemon game but I still would love for it to be brought back using features like Sky Battles or Inverse battles I think it could still be a really interesting Post game area though that being said I wouldn't be in a rush to go after all the Gold Symbols again.

I have a lot to cover from the past month so starting out I recently got Spider Man (PS4) and I've really been enjoying swinging around with momentum and just seeing how fast I can move across the city I've not put that much time into the story so far I've spent more time just finding collectibles and stopping crime but it's been really enjoyable.

One day this past few weeks my uncle called and on that call he was like oh btw you should look and see if you are interested in any of the games I bought but didn't have space to download so out of curiosity I look and I see the game that everyone keeps talking about Elden Ring which got me pretty excited being able to try it since I've never played a Souls game before so I didn't really know what to expect. I haven't played much so far cause I'm waiting for me to randomly be in the mood to challenge myself which doesn't come around as often as it used to but something I did notice if I really dislike how slow the dodge roll felt to me it just feels slower than any other game with a dodge roll I've played and really throws me off but I'm sure if I play more I'll eventually get used to it.

For the final game on PS4 I've been playing the free trial of Final Fantasy 14 which is probably the most fun I've had with a MMO which is still not really that much in comparison to genres I actually enjoy but I've decided I wanna play till I beat the base game campaign so I do have an end goal at least.
I'm playing a bard and the past few days I've just had way too much fun seeing what songs I can play with the performance ability.

To give a brief Pokemon update I randomly one day decided to do all the films in Pokemon Black 2 and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed them I really miss fun side activities in Pokemon games I hope Scarlet and Violet have something fun to do.

Finally I gotta talk about The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past the game that introduced me to Vizzed 8 years ago and on that very same file I finally beat the game after 8 years I finally finished the reason I came to the site in the first place which is really satisfying. I can still remember my uncle showing me the site and being like I found this cool site where you can play old games really well and he told you couldn't save though but I saw that it said to save you just had to make an account so I did, it's a strange feeling having the game that introduced me to the site beat after trying so long to do so and at a certain point I questioned if when I finally beat it if it'd be my last post but I've still got more to give the site! I know I pretty much said nothing about the actual game but I mean it's a classic game I don't have anything unique to say about it and my memories of it are really segmented to the point where I'm not confident I could write a decent review or recommendation of it without replaying some of the early game though as a little fun fact from my playthrough I accidentally named myself C cause I didn't know the controls when I started playing the game so I called myself C instead of Clayton which caused me to facepalm anytime I started the game up again. Though I can also say I felt pretty emotional finally finishing it and with my uncle being away and not getting to spend time with him it was special to me to finish it.

So last time I talked about how I had started playing Elden Ring a bit and I didn't like how slow the stupid dodge roll was but since then I have seen the light and restarted the game with a different class that doesn't take 5 seconds to roll and it makes a major impact on my enjoyment of the game! So after restarting I did what any normal person would do and spent several hours fighting the Tree Sentinel getting closer and closer to taking it down however even though I got it under half multiple times I just didn't seem to be making enough progress to say it was worth dying over and over for so I begrudgingly moved on to bigger things but the entire time I was out exploring Tree Sentinel was in my mind so after spending some time finding different helpful items and grinding some levels as you do I decided it was time for the rematch of the century! So as I approached it once again I summoned my army of wolves for the first time and with the power of distraction, I easily beat him the first time around that said I was shocked at how much damage I was doing which might be mostly due to the fact I didn't know you could make a weapon the only thing you were holding to do more damage but it really went down too easy compared to how long I trained fighting him. After my victory, I put the game down for the day feeling satisfied but I've not picked it up for weeks afterward so oops.

As hard as it is for me to remember everything I've played over the course of a month you would think I'd remember to update this thread more often instead of waiting almost 3 months but oh well hopefully I recall all of it.

So first after my last post I played Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and I don't plan on saying much cause I don't really have a lot to say on it I liked it and I think the combat is probably the best out of the 3 here but story didn't really leave that lasting impact on me this time around for the most part I'm just curious what the dlc story is going to be whenever that comes out.

A few days after I beat Xenoblade 3 I decided it was time to beat The World Ends With You and maybe it's just the switch version cause I have no experience with the DS version but I honestly think it's awful trying to control the game with either control option and it leads to me not enjoying the game as much as I probably could of I love the music in the game and the story was interesting but I felt like it ended kind of weirdly and because I don't like the controls it makes it super hard to get all the post-game stuff done to better understand the ending so overall I'm not really a fan of the World Ends With You and I feel alone in that cause I've always heard people talk about how amazing the game is but maybe someday I'll do post-game content and see if my mind changes.

The game I next focused on was NCAA Football 14 where I was trying to just finish the last 10 years of my 60 year dynasty cause I started the career in like 2018? Maybe 2017 and it had been my goal to get all the trophies in the game and one was for a 60-year dynasty which most of the years I actually played out 5-minute quarters and played all of the games but the last 10ish years I was went to be a coordinator instead of head coach so I could get through games quicker before the last 3 years taking over as a head coach again but even then I would simulate as much of those games as I could only taking over if I needed to score to win the game or if at half if I was down several scores and needed a comeback. Now that I finished that I still have some rivalry trophies and bowl games to win but I'll get around to it eventually.

I've been playing a little osu! here and there trying to get my skill back to where it was but I only play it once every few weeks so it's not really done much for me I'm going to get back to playing it at some point I just don't know when.

Tales of Xillia is the next game I spent a lot of time playing and I actually beat it almost a week ago now I really enjoyed most of the characters and the story was fun I have mixed feelings about the combat being a bit too repetitive but I get the feeling that's more on me not diving into it completely than it is the game's fault.

Lastly the past week since then I've been playing Spiderman on PS4 and really enjoying it I've beaten the main game and the first 2 dlcs doing all the extra side content and I'm working on the final dlc and it's side content currently I found it interesting that the game pushes me a lot more in terms of difficulty with dlc enemies which forced me to learn how the gadgets worked which I had mostly ignored in the main game but the combat is so much fun and even more so when you actually use all the tools you have lol.

Once again its somehow already been a bit over a month since my last post in this blog so I guess it's time for an update!

After Spiderman PS4 the next game I decided to play was Tales of Xillia 2 which I won't go too deep into cause I might write a review on it soon but to go over just a few things I was definitely right in saying me thinking Xillia's combat was repetitive was on me I swear I must of just not read the tutorials in the first game despite swearing I did cause I learned several things from the 2nd game that I never knew in the first game which it turns out was in the first game so oops. The 2nd game adds a new mechanic that makes the combat a lot more fun in boss fights as well but I'll get into that more in an eventual review but I'm shocked I've never heard anyone talk about Xillia 1 & 2 there not my favorite games of all time but I think they are up there for RPGs and unrelated to how good I think they are sorta but they have 2 of the best game openings I've ever seen/heard. PS screw the debt system it's my biggest complaint with the game.

Next game I played through was Final Fantasy 7 Remake which was long overdue after I replied to a thread way back when the game came out saying I didn't think it looked fun and I'm happy to report I was completely wrong in my assessment of the game I still think it was partially to the gameplay I saw making it look way less fun than it actually is but oh well.

Finally the last game I beat recently Tales of Berseria... unlike Tales of Xillia 1&2 I don't really have many good things to say on it I thought it's lighting was pretty? I wish they would remake Xillia 1&2 in it's engine? Like I wanted to like the game but I just don't I understand why Velvet is how she is personality wise but it's hard going from a cheery personality to a super edgy one that I don't enjoy nearly as much even if I understand why she would be like that, and then I didn't really like the rest of the party that much either I HATE Magilou her voice irritates me so much I can hear Futaba everytime she speaks and I used to like Futaba but Magilou has me questioning that doesn't help the same voice actor also played a character in FF7R and Spiderman PS4 so maybe I wouldn't of been so irritated if I hadn't played so many games in a row with said voice actor but yeah. In short I just don't think the party had good chemistry with each other that often and I thought the combat felt wayyyy more drawn out than the Xillia combat ever did which made the game feel like everything took 20 episodes of anime in real time like I recall thinking Freeza's 5 minutes felt fast in comparison to the game at some point and I was like omg I'm going to be playing this game until the end of time.

It's been 2 months since my last post here oops.

After whatever I said last time I got and played Sonic Frontiers which was way better than I would have thought cause of a lack of trust of Sonic Team but the highlight without a doubt in my mind was the boss fights fighting the first island's boss and hearing Undefeatable for the first time was the most hyped I've ever been in a Sonic game and pretty up there for being hype for a video game ever for me it caught me so off guard it felt so unreal. After I beat the game me and my younger brother had a competition on who could get a faster time on cyberspace 1-2 which started with my best time at like 54.70 but we kept beating each other until I got it down to 48.65 which my brother was struggling to beat and then I had an idea how funny it would be if he thought he was getting close to beat that time just to learn that my time was better than that so I began practicing the homing dash the look on his face when he started playing without knowing my new time and I kept saying stuff kinda hinting at it so he finally looked I don't recall the time exactly now but I think it was 45.60ish but I didn't stop there I wanted to make sure my younger brother would have to grind the level for years if he wanted to beat me so I kept going till my time was and still is at 43.82 which I know I could still beat if I really grind but my brother already gave up so I probably won't return to it for a while.

Next up for me was Pokemon Scarlet which I thought was pretty fun not my favorite Pokemon game but I really enjoyed playing it with friends!

After that I finally beat New Super Luigi U something I had been putting off for years I just got in the mood to play a mario game I hadn't played before so I said screw it and because New Super Luigi U could challenge me at points I honestly walked away thinking it's the best of the New series.

Now for the most recent game, I beat I can say I have finally beaten Persona Q2. I'll still say the gameplay wasn't great or at least something I have no interest in ever playing again but I really enjoyed seeing the cast of 3, 4, and 5 interact, and the new Q2 characters were great too. I think I'm starting to get soft cause I cried during the credits for a game I wouldn't even rank in my top 200 favorite games something I thought would only ever happen for games I'd rank near the top 20 but the music and everything just got me.

As for what I've been up to since then, I'm playing 2 games from franchises I've been interested in for a long time but never really gave that much of a chance to since I got both games for $13 from the PSN Store sale. Those 2 games are Assassin's Creed Syndicate and Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain. I'm enjoying both games so far but I definitely prefer MGS5 which isn't too surprising I've had an interest in MGS a lot longer I played Ground Zeros in like 2016 at a friend's house while he was asleep and beat it but man I suck at the game.

I've been playing a lot of Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain and Final Fantasy 14 the free trial so I decided it was time to talk about my feelings on both of them!

I'll start by saying my experience with Metal Gear as a series is extremely limited I've only played Ground Zeroes before this and that was ages ago so my knowledge of the series is extremely limited but I've been enjoying the game a lot I'd say I really wanna play the rest of the games after I finish 5 but I wonder how I'll enjoy those since I believe they are a lot more linear compared to the open world for 5 and I think the story is a lot more involved but that's just my impression from watching videos over the years on YouTube so we'll see how that goes when I get to it, currently though for mgs5 I'm just enjoying the cutscenes and not trying to understand it too hard for my head I'll probably understand it more after getting context from the previous games though the fact I remember nothing that happened in Ground Zeroes is not helping.

I've had an interesting time continuing Final Fantasy 14 cause even in the MMO I would consider the best I still have to just go on a rant cause MMO game design sucks! Whoever started the trend of MMO quests going something like "first go here and talk to this person then go over here and talk to this person now go back to the previous person and now go back to the person who started the quest and oh maybe fight like one enemy now" I hate it's never made sense to me why can't you just design something fun??? I don't understand there has to be a better way for this stuff but MMOs have never been nor will they ever be my genre I just want to beat a single MMO so I can say I have I guess. On a more positive note, I really enjoy the dungeons in 14 as they can be pretty fun even with random people playing though they definitely can make the experience memorable for the wrong reasons but that's not the point I think the design of the dungeons you go through and the fights you take on in them is definitely the highlight of the game.

I've been thinking I should do a post in here again and now it's been 2 months since then so oops where do I even begin...

I've managed to make it to Shadowbringers in FF14 still enjoying the game still have times I hate mmo design nothing much to really mention though I did enjoy Heavensward alot more than Stormblood but I still thought Stormblood was okay.

I got and beat FF15 I thought the game was pretty good until the last story place you go through it just felt so dull and boring at the end which was disappointing cause it had been really fun up till that point I wanna go back and do extra content at some point but who knows when that will happen.

Recently I've been mostly replaying Sonic Frontiers and Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix. Sonic Frontiers because of the recent update and KH2 because it's been a year or 2 I guess lol, I've really been enjoying the Frontiers update getting to listen to music from past games is great for me since I prefer to be running around to higher energy music, but the highlight is definitely Extreme difficultly where your rings mean nothing cause if you get hit your dead which normally I always say I can't stand that in games but with Frontiers I think it works cause the combat was never normally that difficult for the most part where now I was losing my mind against the first titan cause I was dying to things like it winding up a punch or it jumping to get back to the middle of the map... In terms of how KH2 is going easily the most fun I've had was when I got to the part where you fight a bunch of dancer nobodies before being able to move on and after spending a hour on it my previous playthrough of critical I just took my time and got past it first try!

The past day or 2 I've been playing a little bit of Xenoverse 2 since they added Beast to the game and I wanted to try it out and I feel like it's easily better than most of the transformations that were in the game before it though messing around with super souls and such I have been wanting to make more builds but at this point I don't know if it's really worth it so I might mess around a bit just for the fun of it but I'm not really sure on that.

I recently decided I wanted to prove to myself that I was good at Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 150cc I don't know why really I hardly play the game but been thinking about Mario Kart a lot so I figured hey it's time to prove it on the original 48 tracks to unlock the gold tires which I'll never use, but I remember trying to beat the staff ghosts in MKWii as a kid and getting destroyed so I was a bit worried going into it so I started with the first track in the game and I won first try and I was just sitting there looking up if there was something I had to do to unlock an expert staff ghost but nope that's as hard as they get not counting 200cc but that's almost an entirely different game and I've not put enough time into it to try those time trials so I went on through most the courses doing a lot of them first try. Before I get to my least favorite course I wanna say at one point I learned that I beat Sherbet Land before I even set out to do all these which I have 0 memory of but I don't know if you have to do with the ghost there for it to count and I barely did it whenever I did so I did it again first try and beat it by 10 seconds. So while I found most of them pretty easy I'd say there was about 10 that took me more than a few tries mostly cause I struggled to hit the shortcut on all 3 laps or something but the track I expected to struggle the most on was definitely Rainbow Road... and it was okay I still don't really like MK8 Rainbow Road but it was definitely harder than most but if I struggled on 10 it was the 10th hardest so meh. The track that I won't soon forget is DK Jungle I used to like this track but after the time trial where I spent an hour racing the ghost of some Nintendo of Japan staff member playing as DK I'm not a fan anymore it wasn't that one trick was really hard for me it was 2 per lap! First, you have the mushroom to go off-road trick to hit a glide ramp which I just found to be at an extremely awkward angle where it was hard to do without falling off and because of all the drift boosts I was getting I had to slow down to half hit it correctly. Secondly, right at the end of the track there's this little ramp that you have to hit that's faster than the normal way with a few coins and hitting the ramp without instantly falling off was so precise I was going crazy trying to not go flying off the course. For a while, I was trying to just slam on the breaks after the ramp but then Donkey Kong would just end up passing me so I finally figured out a very precise angle would not send me to my doom so after that and another 20 minutes of attempts I was able to beat the ghost of Rie. I don't know if my choice of kart was making this harder but my build for all the races on 150cc time trial was Daisy Yoshi bike button tires and the cloud glider, but the most insulting thing is I had to reset the time trial so many times the game now lists it was my favorite course I feel so taunted I'm tempted to go keep reloading a Double Dash track just to reset the balance of the world. After doing it I'm surprised that most of them weren't that bad and I feel like they had to be harder in older Mario Kart games and it makes me really tempted to hook up the old wii so I can do them in Double Dash since I never bothered to before.

Oh boy I didn't reply here forever and now have 8 months worth to catch everyone up on let's see where do I even begin....

I beat Gravity Rush a few days after my last post here and while for the first half I thought it was a super cool game the plot went completely off the rails at the end in my opinion which left a super weird taste for me where it was a cool game but felt like it should of been a lot better, I started the 2nd one but I soon got distracted by a lot of different games and I've not got back to it yet it seemed better from what I played though.

The next game I played through was Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga which was a lot better than I expected as the past like 5 lego games I've randomly tried were all highly disappointing as someone who grew up with the original lego star wars but thankfully I really enjoyed this new iteration I think the prequels were the most fun levels probably because of the clone wars cast reprises their roles.

I should mention the reason I have so many random games at this point in the timeline was I had gamepass this month lol so next up was UFC 4 which I played through the career mode which was lackluster but the main reason I downloaded it was to play with my close friend who I used to live just down the street from he had talked himself up pretty big and so had my brother who I was also looking forward to fighting but as normal I'm the best gamer I know when it comes to people ik irl so the first few matches I was mostly losing but after the first 5 my record between the 2 of them was probably something close to 30-7.

So now for my next game I played I got to return to Xenoblade 3 with the release of Future Redeemed! This was what I wanted from Xenoblade 3 in the first place it was amazing I love how OP Rex is it was like he came straight from Xenoblade 2.

Let's see next up on games I beat I tried an indie game called Sea of Solitude I didn't really think much of it and I truthfully can't recall anything of note so instead I gotta talk about Tears of the Kingdom which at the time I thought for sure would win Game of the Year while I agree with the fact it didn't I think it made going back to the original breath of the wild completely pointless and less fun I had so much fun I thought it was quite the step up in difficulty as well which as someone who wants to be challenged was perfect for me. From what I gather it's not a popular opinion but I found the dungeons a lot closer to traditional zelda and way more unique and enjoyable compared to breath of the wild.

Once I was done playing Tears I went back to focusing on Final Fantasy 14 Shadowbringers which was an absolutely amazing expansion I can't really go into why it was so good without talking about spoilers but it was fantastic for almost the entire run time I think the final map of the expansion's first half let's it down quite a bit for just being uninteresting but the 2nd half is way better. As for the post quests definitely had some of my favorite content for trials and the such.

I almost instantly started playing Endwalker after but I did take a small break in the middle to play Spiderman Miles Morales which I thought was pretty good as an introduction to Miles since I didn't really have any exposure to the character before this.

As for Endwalker I think it was slightly too long tbh I don't think it was the best expansion for several reasons mostly due to issues I personally have with some plot decisions which once again are spoilers so I don't wanna go into it all here but like there were definitely times I thought things were just kinda brushed away where it didn't make sense which I guess is me complaining that it didn't take time to settle things in a plot I already think is too long but what can you do they definitely could of cut down other quests to make space for stuff but MMOs am I right? As for it's post quests... yeah I don't remember much of anything about them I haven't finished the most recent patch content yet but the last trial I did was stupid hard for required content which really caught me off guard.

I definitely slowed down on beating games for a bit after Endwalker unfortunately I don't really have a good way of knowing exactly what I was up to at the time but somewhere around this point I got pretty invested in pixelmon again. As for games I actually have something to say about around this September period I finally played a game my younger brother as been begging me to play for years Metal Gear Rising Revengeance which I didn't really know what to expect I just knew people memed it to death but I was pleasantly surprised with what I got which was a really fun action game with a killer soundtrack although I definitely had some gripes like why is the parry attacking at the same direction as the enemy I didn't figure this out until the final boss and I wish I was joking, but I definitely got completely zoned out fighting jetstream sam not knowing you could parry so being forced to dodge his attacks made it an epic encounter for the ages where I didn't stand a chance not even getting him near half health until I zoned out and got in the zone and won without even fully realizing that I was doing so well.

Unfortunately for me the first pokemon dlc part came out soon after and I thought it was pretty awful I hated the new characters and the land of kitakami reminded me of johto so it quite possibly couldn't have been much worse.

Sonic Frontiers got it's final horizon update right before October and it's easily the hardest Sonic content I ever have played which won't be true for people who play it now as it's been patched to fix it but some of the things this update asks of the player is just insane... and I loved it having a near frame perfect parry? complete stupidity but winning against the titans? Sheer joy... though I'm ngl when super sonic 2 happened in the final boss and it told me that parry was upgraded to perfect parry I was fuming... but what a anime final boss definitely the boss the game deserved to end on I loved it.

Soon after I decided to buy myself a PS5 the spiderman 2 ps5 to be specific and I'm glad I did because Spiderman 2 is my pick for game of the year it was so good and added onto the first one so much in ways I thought were better than Tears of the Kingdom since they both heavily reuse assets from the previous game it seemed like a good comparison point but anyway just an amazing game. I failed to mention it but Spiderman 2 sorta came out at a awkward time for me see it came out the same day as Super Mario Bros Wonder and just 3 days after Sonic Superstars came out on my bday so I was struggling to play them all around the same time and sonic ended up losing out.

Super Mario Bros Wonder was a game I didn't have much expectations for and it surprised me with how much fun I had playing a 2D Mario at a point in my life where I struggle to play 2D games any more it just feels arcade like to me anymore like it's just not something I really can enjoy for long periods anymore and yet I had a blast. Sonic Superstars on the other hand showed me everything I hate about 2D gaming and classic sonic. I thought the levels while all being original didn't feel very original the music was lackluster for most of the OST and worst of all the bosses are the worst fights in any sonic game don't even get me started on the complete garbage that was the final bosses of each story with instant kills and just stuff where you will have to die to figure it out most likely... I was so MAD when I beat the story just to find out I had to play the entire game again to see the ending if it didn't release on my bday I would of skipped it and I still wish I would of.

Thankfully after Sonic disappointed me Persona 5 Tactica was way better than I had expected I mean it took me years to beat Q2 and I was scared it'd be really tedious and annoying like that game which the 2nd half definitely by the end started feeling somewhat like that and probably shouldn't have if they would of just kept blasting the amazing music I would of been like ughhh why is there 7 more maps than there needs to be but oh well the music is a bop but nope the long stretch of annoying levels had lackluster music. Story was also great don't wanna talk about it as once again spoilers but great would recommend if you love p5. I hate that Tactica had day 1 dlc but I've been dying for more Kasumi and Akechi content so I bought the dlc and can someone tell me why the dlc is far better than the main game??? The content doesn't drag it gets to the point and while it only has 2 new vocal songs they are easily the best 2 songs in the entire game.

Now for the last 2 games I played this year... Pokemon's dlc and BDSP..... As for the dlc I thought it was far better than part 1 and loved the unova references, story wise it was meh but I guess it still hasn't finished since there's the epilogue coming in a few weeks. Now I only got BDSP for more storage since I've been struggling to store all my pokemon after using Pokemon home and for some reason BDSP has 40 boxes but I still played through the game and I was really surprised by how challenging Cynthia is most the game was a cakewalk but Cynthia is just insane I think they did a fantastic job keeping her as a source of trauma for players I know I'm a far better player than 7 years ago when I first played Platinum but she made me feel so helpless with the team of sinnoh mons I hadn't used before in my first attempt that I took time to go remake and train my original sinnoh team to try and beat her and even with that I had to set up way too much to still just barely win. I really wanna do contests since I haven't done those in sinnoh yet but that's probably going to be a while before I eventually get to it. Also completed the national dex in the game just for fun after I completed the sinnoh dex in 20 mins of in game time and the professor wouldn't recognize it which was super annoying lol.
