Heyo people of Vizzed today I'm reviewing Persona 4 Golden since it only makes sense to cover it since I've already covered both versions of P5. This game however is really hard for me to review but I'll get into that more when I need to.

Graphics 8/10 -
I really like how this game looks it's a lot simpler than what comes after it but for a PS2 title which was then moved and upgraded to the Vita and then ported to Steam it looks really nice. The standout in the graphics department is definitely the animated scenes provided by A-1 Pictures I imagine with the right hardware this is how they always wanted the game to look.

Sound 10/10 -
I'll try not to fan girl as hard as I did for P5's OST but even with me saying that it's hard not to when the game has great tracks like Reach Out to the Truth, that being said I'll stop right there we don't need me listing the entire soundtrack again. Even with me loving the OST I still would say the more pop style doesn't as easily appeal to me compared to other titles music. Something I will say though even if you dislike certain songs at first they probably have a good chance to grow on you as you play the game like I hated Reach Out to the Truth when I first heard it but now it's my favorite song from the game.

Addictive 10/10 -
This game is so fun to play the small adjustments made to this title over the original PS2 version makes it so much fun to replay. One of my favorite things about this game is the ability to change how much EXP you earn so when you replay the game you don't have to grind just by increasing your EXP earned in fights. Another reason this game is replayable is how Shuffle Time is handled in shuffle time you can get boosts for your current equipped persona so you could realistically use any persona you want and grind it's stats if you really wanted to which can make challenge runs fun if you wanna replay the game. Yet another thing I love about this game is during shuffle time you can get skill cards which then can be registered in the velvet room and purchased as many times as you want so if you put time into it you can easily make it so you can build your Persona however you like.

Story 9/10 -
I'm not going to go real in depth with this but to try to give a brief summary ever watched Scooby Doo? basically there's a killer lose and it's up to the investigation team to find out who. I will say the added Golden content story wise is also really good.

Depth 9/10 -
Persona titles are known to be quite long and this one is no exception if you really wanna get everything out of this title you'll want to eventually do a playthrough where you max out every social link in the same playthrough and doing this is so time consuming and a bit stressful but carefully executing it is so rewarding. The dungeons in this game floors are randomly generated for the most part so going through the dungeon can grant a different feeling each time.

Difficulty 6/10 -
This is such a hard thing to rate for me because my first playthrough ultimate luck really shined through and gave me Obariyon on my very first fusion instead of whatever I was supposed to get and with it having no weakness and resisting physical I never switched persona's again the rest of the entire playthrough even with my broken overpowered persona I still got wiped out a couple times throughout the game by being underprepared.

Overall 10/10 -
(You can skip this first part I really just wanted to talk about Obariyon a bit more before I ended the review) Obariyon is easily my favorite persona after this game I may of explained it some already but with my luck the thing just kept getting more and more overpowered by the end it had God's Hand and Power Charge to just destroy opposing foes it was a great time. This is easily my 2nd favorite game of all time right behind Persona 5 Royal if you've not played the game and read this I really hope you give it a shot.
